Great service! Thank you! This coin shop saved me from silver scammers

Had some inherited gold jewelry, watches etc. that was just sitting in a drawer. We decided to go to three places to get offers on selling. 1st went to Manchester Coin and jewelry. They offered $1950. 2nd place we went to was Missouri Coin in Des Peres. They offered $2000. We then drove to Missouri Gold Buyers. They offered $2607. I sold it to them. I know Missouri Gold Buyers are making money with the offer they made me, that's why they are in business. Now, just think how much the other two places would have made. It pays to shop around.

Traffic note: no parking on site. Clean little store with polite owner. Very little inventory on shelves. Does not sell 90% "junk silver". Buys 90% junk silver at 20 times face value- more than 30% below market.

I would highly suggest taking your jewelry, gold or your business in general to any other respectable business/buyer. They will give you a margin of what other places will. Frankly, today I was lied to about the weight, then told by the owner Mike there a chance he made a mistake. Not really the place to be making mistakes and the only mistake was him trying to deceive someone who had consistent business. I was warned by my colleagues to not come here. These are local vendors, and collectors that all used to do business here and told me to go elsewhere. Lesson learned the hard way. After months I tried this place again based on my colleagues thoughts. Huge mistake. Silver is over $44 they offered .75 cents a gram for Sterling. Yikes.

I can honestly say I've been coming to this place for over 16 yrs. Great service. Willing to go through even the most annoying of tasks, such as taking apart watch bands for that 1/12 20k or whatever crap thats worth barely anything, because they know value, meaning items as well as you, the customer. They will show you the calculator, and break down the current price of each kt per pennyweight so you can check the math. Idk what people are saying about, oh, they only have so much, and have to turn a profit. BS. They stand by what they say. They are going to offer you top dollar, no nonsense, no haggling. Take it or leave it type business. When I was about 24, i brought something in that I had priced somewhere else earlier that day, and I offhandedly mentioned what they offered. The guy working instantly offered I want to say 5 dollars more than what I had said the other place offered. Pardon my ranting, but I feel like it's pretty rare that a business proves themselves so thoroughly, and they don't need to prove it. Pardon the pun, but this place is Gold. 6 Stars
