I took Gold, silver and coins to five jewelers and coin places in Overland Park, Olathe and Paola. Americana collectors paid substantially better than anywhere else. Patrick was very matter of fact, easy to work with and very knowledgeable. Later I took some jewelry over and was shocked at how much I got for that. I definitely recommend this business.

more than honest. that goes a long, long ways. when i was able to sell something elsewhere for more than he kud buy it for, he told me where i can sell it to get a lot more than he kud buy it for. that is honesty squared. ❤️

I had recently come across a couple of small family collections of coins and wanted an honest appraisal and purchase if possible. Patrick was very easy, honest, and great to work with. I am not a collector in any way and just wanted to get a handle on what I had. He bought some of the coins for a very fair price and helped me to decide what was worth selling. I would recommend this place very highly. Thanks for the service Patrick.

I used the website for Americana Collectors - South to schedule an appointment for January 2 at 11:00 am a few weeks ago. I received multiple reminders via email and text for said appointment. When I showed up, nobody was there. I called and left a voicemail, I sent an email. I waited for about fifteen minutes. Today is January 4 and nobody has contacted me to apologize or to reschedule. They wasted my time and clearly don't care. They had every opportunity to contact me to reschedule (I understand people take time off around the holidays). They had 48 hours to contact me after missing the appointment and before I posted this. Don't waste your time.

I went to buy some silver 10 oz bars and coins at the Raymore location. I bought as many as he would allow in cash the first time stopping in here. He offered me a break if i bought 500 at one time. he didn't inform me they only accepted $9999 in cash per purchase. He did say if you come back the very next day i would honor todays price. I came back the next day and he changed his $ to the current spot price. Said he was confused and misunderstood. Do not do business with Patrick at the Raymore coins office. You will get scammed. Tried saying we took cash off the cash pile he had behind the counter when I made him count the cash before i left as well. His word means nothing. I had a buddy with me to witness this if anyone thinks i'm making this up. If they want to honor the original agreement we will happily go back and purchase the 380 oz I was planning on paying for today. Good luck to anyone that thinks they are a good company to deal with. Patrick's word means nothing.

Very friendly. Looked through my old books of mercury dimes, Washington quarters, etc. Told me the dates to look for. Offered to buy at a good price, i was just getting a quote. I also had some gold nuggets that I didn't know for sure how real they were. Was happy with his offer. They are real lol. But again I'll hold for now. They seemed very honest and up front. I am a silver buyer, so I did grab one oz round! Only .75 over spot, again. Very happy I can run up town and not get the run around. I will return to grab my monthly silver. Thanks guys!
