Investment Rareties representatives were professional and knew information about the coins marketed. The market information provided by company is excellent. The pricing from the company is a bit more expensive than other companies in the field. The return policy from the firm is excellent.

Bought my first silver bars from here – 10 ounce bars with New York mint with twin towers embossed on each bar. This was quite a while ago. Glad they are still public. I drove there myself. It was very secure, and no surprises. Generally, it’s good to know where TwinCity’s brokers might be for those who want to acquire, or dispose of bullion or numismatic precious metals They could be expensive on small orders but if you notice this is sort of industrial level or commercial level as when I purchased my bars they had sold maybe half 1 billion and they are advertising up to 3 billion sold so that’s quite a large amount. When you need it done, it’s good to know all the big boys . I’ve seen others like Truman company advertised. Those might be better for retail size transactions. I haven’t been there yet but I plan to visit soon.

My 81 year old mother purchased silver from Investment Rarities 45 years ago. The bag remained sealed for 45 years, until last summer when she decided it was time to cash in on her investment and brought the never opened, still sealed bag to a reputable coin shop in Vermont, where it was unsealed in from of her. Imagine her surprise when it was discovered that 25 % of the coins that were sold to her, by Investment Rarities, were not actually silver. When she contacted Investment Rarities to ask them to “make good” on the fraudulent purchase, they told her it was too long ago and they would not stand behind their product. So my mother is stuck with worthless coins, all because 45 years ago she wrongly believed this company was honest and trustworthy.

Received a mailing for 2 free books. Spoke with Greg Westgaard re: books offer; correct impression that these books at an Intro level. Asked about their operation, such as markets interpretation (chartest, my impression No, as Greg said 30 years selling experienced), numismatic, bullion, etc to client assist through metals market. Stated I'm a shopper toward deals, was there anything? Told, "do my leg work, and call back" at which upon my attempt for clarity from him was to deaf ears. In summary, not a very inquisitive, engaged, or very helpful company to seek out any interests to commerce.

I’ve been working with Investment Rarities for nearly 25 years. That time span has been filled with the massive move higher from 2001-2011 and then some very challenging periods thereafter. We are now on to far better times for precious metals. Through the years, my experience with IR has been top notch throughout. Total professionals.
