Generally good. I blame myself for not forcing a clear accounting of several coins I sold recently. I actually had 7 Morgan dollars I sold along with several other things. At the end, the paper work wasn't Reviewed with me. I didn't ask to explain, I just signed. Later at home I realized my mistake and paperwork only listed 5 Morgans. Mistakes can be made everywhere...... be diligent. Water under the bridge now
Jay was super knowledgeable, honest and very nice! Highly recommend him and this business!
Sharon and Rick were great. I had some gold jewelry and a lot of silver and they went through each piece patiently and answered all my questions as we went. Honest, fair prices and knowledgeable. I was in and out the door in 45 minutes. Plus I easily kept whatever was something I changed my mind on as we went. No pressure at all.
They were busy when I was there. Not busy, busy. But to busy for me. They gave one minute of their precious time. So I thought that I would return the favor and give them one minute of my precious time. No worries!! I wasn't too busy. In response to your reply. "Liquidations" is a the keyword here. They were to busy Liquidating someone's fathers entire lifelong coin collection for pennies on the dollar to be bothered with me. It resembled a group of hungry vultures finishing off their kill. As far as an appointment. I was a walk in, without an appointment and that obviously doesn't work well for American Rare Coins & Collectables. Why have a sign on your front door that reads "OPEN" Maybe you should do business by appointment only? It would be great way for you to screen out people with smaller "Liquidations"
My husband and I visited this establishment a few days ago. We were pleasantly pleased with how knowledgeable and kind they were. We had visited a few other places that we felt uncomfortable about. We were going in, to get some coins and silver items that had been passed down to us looked at.. . Nick and Tony were very helpful at explaining what our items were worth and we felt we got a honest price ,a history lesson, and had a great time too. We left very happy and felt they were honest, fair and took the time we needed to feel comfortable. We would recommend them in a heart beat.
This is a decent little shop for silver. Right inside the Wells building. Premiums seem to be about $3-4 over spot. Selection is limited if youβre looking for something specific. Iβve never really had to wait to be helped. Iβve never made an appointment. Iβve walked in maybe 3 or 4 times and a nice man has always helped out and has been patient with me.
This is a very professional and trustworthy business. I did my due diligence and researched prices on my own, however, the way they sorted and graded my collection was just amazing to see. I walked out with more than I expected. I highly recommend them and would not go anywhere else.
