The owner is great.

I visited Michigan Cash for Gold today to sell some gold jewelry I no longer wore. When I entered the building I was amazed at all the pictures hanging neatly on the walls. It was very impressive to see so many pictures. The owner was so very kind and pleasant. He gave me top price for my gold. Id highly recommended going there if you are selling your gold jewelry. Id give him 10 stars if I could. Service is top notch. I plan to purchasing my next gold item from him. Forget about going elsewhere. Go here first if you want to be treated fairly.

Very nice guy excellent service and very far when buying items

Absolutely offended by his pricing. Brought in 3 pieces. All have been appraised and have had offers on in Chicago, and New York City…. He claims to be a master gemologist. He is far far from it…. To give you an idea, I showed him one bracelet with 3 Colombian emeralds and 18k gold, as well as diamonds. I had this appraised at $3500 with a certification, I was offered $2600 and $2500 in chicago, by REAL gemologist off wabash st. He offered me less than $200. Do the math. There is a reason why cars are not in his lot….. I just wanted his opinion being I am local. I will gladly take a trip again to NYC and CHI. This guy just wants gold. Not a master gemologist in the least!

Hands down best place to go to sell your gold/jewelry! 100% recommend. Mike is one of the nicest men I have met and is honest in his business. He only gives prices in person, but I can vouch that he will not disappoint! I won't go or recommend anywhere else now that I've been here!

I was going to a couple places, that I won't name, further west on 8 mile and they were even voted best (one the other shops) for prices on gold and MIKE was making them look like Criminals. I felt the other guys were robbing me after hearing Mike's offer. I still returned to my other shops to have them check and clean pieces for me and to see what they would offer me, before I went to Mike for almost a year. I couldn't believe these guys were keeping so much money from me. Every Single time I went to Mike after the other shops it was always 20-50% higher than the other guys. Mike is barely under scrap. Best in DETROIT!!! PERIOD
