The experience with Arcadian Antiques has been incredible. We have been treated with such kindness, generosity, and genuine enthusiasm when it came to helping us find our engagement rings. Not only were we delighted with the service and just the caliber of humanity we encountered in the store, but Rhonda herself hand delivered our re-sized rings to us in NYC when they were ready a couple months later. She surprised us with champagne and appetizers, took pictures of us as we opened them, and even gave us cupcakces for dessert AND bought us a bouquet of flowers. After that, she took pictures of us by Rockefeller Center. This woman just goes above and beyond and may be the first person we've encountered to truly have a heart of gold. The quality of the rings is exquisite, the re-sizing perfect, the attention to detail, the personal attention....we will remember this for the rest of our lives. It's rare to encounter not only incredible service, wonderful products in terms of both selection and value, but also each and every person we interacted with in the store to be so genuinely kind and curious about our love story, and eager to support us and help us find something that expresses our individual personailities. We were just gobsmacked and deeply moved by the entire experience. We'll be back soon for our custom made wedding bands! Cannot recommend enough 10/10, 150%. Eternally grateful.

My newly appointed fiancé Matt and I decided to check out Arcadian Antiques after a spur of the moment (after 7 years) engagement rings! Let me tell you, Rhonda and Bailey were amazing! Supremely helpful, plentiful with advice, and very patient with tryings on/questions to boot! If you’re looking for a local, long standing business in Ann Arbor to patronize this is one of them. They were also incredibly professional and knowledgeable about ring sizing, and expectations for the future of wearing them. Please shop here and check them out! While visiting my son at University of Michigan, I came across this gem of a store. I am a collector of vintage jewelry and the occasional vintage trinket. Arcadian antiques offers one of the best selections of vintage jewelry and various other vintage items that I’ve come across! I have purchased four items from them - the last three purchases were a matching crystal in platinum necklace and bracelet set and a beautiful garnet set in 18 karat gold. I was in sort of in a rush to receive my items so that I would have them before my sister’s wedding in Hawaii. As soon as I told the sales clerk.– I apologize I don’t remember her name – She was on it. My initial order was for just the necklace and the ring and she thought enough to give me a call and let me know that they had the matching bracelet to the necklace. What a delight to own and wear such beautiful pieces! They put my ring resizing on the fast track so that I would have it for the wedding. All of my items were received within six days! What a relief and a joy to experience these beautiful, vintage pieces! I’ve read a couple of reviews that were quite negative and I respectfully disagree. The customer service was on point. It was a pleasant experience to browse their beautiful pieces and find that one that spoke to me. No pressure for sales, which I like. And a very knowledgeable purchasing network throughout the world. Pricing was very fair for what I was purchasing. I have quite a bit of experience with purchasing antiques, especially jewelry, and I don’t understand the negative review stating that the prices were too high. On the contrary, they were very, very fair in their pricing. Thank you to the Arcadian antiques team for an stress-free, wonderful shopping experience. Even though my son no longer lives in Ann Arbor, I will be back -for sure! 💕

My beautiful rings, purchased over the past 25 + years, are only a few my favorite jewelry pieces from The Arcadian's amazing collections. The Arcadian will always have gorgeous, unique items, curated carefully to standards of very high quality and beauty. Prices are always fair, and a far better bargain than 'new jewelry store' rates. I have lived in Michigan, Germany, the NYC area, Iowa, Chicago, and DC; this is the most impressive collection of vintage and antique jewelry I have ever encountered. And if you are seeking a fabulous, special engagement ring, this is the only place you MUST visit. The two locations are brimming with wonderful things -- not only jewelry but also items like dishes, evening bags, perfume bottles, picture frames -- beautiful vintage things, but always well fitted, due to the talent of the owner, to current trends in accessorizing or decorating. The Arcadian also works with extremely trustworthy artisans for repairs and sizing, and I have been able to have items repaired which others claimed were irreparable. Just go, even if Ann Arbor is out of your way!

One of the hidden gems of Ann Arbor. Store front is intriguing and always takes you into another world. 🗺️ Appears to be well studied, informed collector, and the antiques show a world of the past you never knew. Imagine how these people lived, who is she? 😍

Beautiful pieces but terrible service. Walked into the store and the saleswoman very rudely told my group to place our coffees on the counter. Not an unreasonable request, however several other customers had drinks in hand and were not told this, the saleswoman singled us out completely. The two saleswomen then continued to whisper to one another while giving me dirty looks. I have never felt so unwelcome. The jewelry was so beautiful and I so badly wanted to shop, yet I cannot do so in a store where the employees are so cold, dismissive, and plain rude. I will not be returning unless a staffing change is made. Such a shame considering the great selection!
