US Rare Coin & Currency is a must see! Located in the heart of downtown Meridian. They have a huge assortment of coins, paper money, gold, silver, and SO much more! The owners are super friendly and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend to check them out!

The nerve of the owner of this place! What utter just respectful gall from these people...to actually help you!! Good experience. Nice store. Drove 1.5 hours to get there, which was worth the drive. He took the time to look through what I brought and noted the more potentially valuable pieces. Would not hesitate to come back in the future.

Wonderful experience at this coin shop, will be going back soon. Mr. Paul was friendly, helpful and excited to show items to me that he knew from our conversation that I’d enjoy. I was wide eyed with everything he showed me as well as what was on display. There is a considerable amount of inventory, all items are presented nicely, many in PCGS and NGC graded slabs but not all. Various questions were answered and my ignorance on certain items/subjects was not frowned upon or snickered at but instead were answered with enthusiasm and eye to eye. I could have stayed for hours talking and looking over everything but I was called by my wife who was doing her own shopping down the road to come pick her up. I bought a beautiful 2021 Silver Eagle BU Type 2 along with an airtight case at a very reasonable price which easily competes if not out does any of the online dealers I’ve come across; best of all I walked out with my purchase in hand and was able to see/pick the item I wanted from the display case. A very very comfortable, friendly and pleasant environment, where you feel at ease as opposed to many coin shops I’ve been to in the past. This is an A+ business with great service. You will have no regrets visiting or doing business here.

I recently sold some coins here and had an excellent experience. This family-owned business is run by owners who are fair, extremely knowledgeable and friendly. They explained everything clearly, and their pricing and explanations were transparent and reasonable. The shop itself is a real gem in the Southeast US, with a fascinating selection of coins and historical memorabilia. The surrounding area in downtown Meridian, MS is also a great place to visit and explore if you are visiting in person. Thank you both for such a positive experience.
