If you’re looking for cash quick, this could be your place. If you’re looking for someone actually interested in coins or their history, look somewhere else. Only one small step up from a pawn shop

After spending some time researching businesses in the area and reading reviews, I chose M.A. Storck to have some gold and silver jewelry evaluated with the interest of selling and I was not disappointed. The owner, Sullivan, was courteous, knowledgeable, forthright and very transparent about his assessment of the value of the items I brought in and what he was interested in buying. I expressed interest in his trade and he took the time to walk me through his process of testing metals, the history of his business and the math he used to calculate his offer. No rush, no pressure, no lowballing, totally fair in my opinion (it's a very small operation and I visited during nice weather so it wasn't very busy - keep that in mind come tourist season in Freeport - be patient). More than money, I value time, history, a good conversation, and a genuine learning experience. I got all of those at M.A. Storck. Thanks Sullivan. Looking forward to my next visit.

I went in to Sullivan’s shop las week with many many pounds of coins that I inherited from my grandfather. It was late in the day and I am very new to coins. I am curious and have been excited about the prospect of learning about these coins and about my grandfather as a result. Sullivan could sense this, and spent over an hour and a half going through every coin with me, and even stayed open late to get the job done well. I learned about silver quality, notable years for certain coins, and more. He was so patient and kind and thorough. I didn’t have any high value coins, but I do have a new hobby and awesome resource for once the weather turns colder.
