Previously I left a positive review but today when I was at the store George told me to hurry up because he was busy and had things to do. I couldn't believe how rude he was. I don't care how busy you are you don't treat customers like that!!

George at Liberty Gold and Coin was excellent he gave me a fair price on my silver. I would recommend anyone looking to sell gold, silver, coins, or jewelry to go here 1st.

George is very professional and pleasant to deal with. We were selling a coin collection and he took the time to explain why certain things had value and why others didn't. I feel I got a fair price for everything I sold. He made the process easy.

It was a wonderful transaction working with George. He was very patient and very fair in his pricing. He spent a lot of time going over everything with me.

I have been here maybe half a dozen times so far. My first run-in with George was when he did an appraisal on my grandfathers coins for his estate. He charged a fair price and was thorough. I have also sold a bunch of stuff to him. Sterling dishes, silver bars, silver and gold jewelry and even a couple of gold coins. He is very fair in the price he pays.

As a valued resident of Eldersburg I was surprised to learn of a gold/coin appraisal expert right up the road. We came without an appointment minutes past opening time and found customers waiting at the door. Upon calling George he rudely advised us he wasn’t there yet and we would have to wait. 10 minutes later he arrived and allowed us entry. He asked each of us what was our business there and when I told him I had brought antique watches for appraisal he screamed “I don’t DO watches”… Have a nice day. And he opened the front door and held it until we left. We were dumbfounded and if I had my wits about me he would have felt the lash of my tongue. Needless to say we won’t be seeing George for our gold/silver needs. I’ll be holding our proprietors to a higher standard.
