My husband and I chose Baltimore Gold of Frederick for its reviews and then for a good phone exchange before going into the store for an appraisal. Paul #1 and Paul #2 lived up to—and exceeded!—our expectations. We had inherited sundry pieces of gold jewelry, old US bills and coins, all of which between them they appraised in short order. We picked up some stories and anecdotes along the way, in keeping with their open, engaged spirits. They've won a couple of return customers.

Paul the owner was so welcoming and so kind. I plan on going back, because their shop has amazing things.

Only open a few days a week but I’d suggest go for the short window of opportunity available. Unique collection of antiques and custom jewelry that’s just beautiful to see even if you don’t want to purchase anything.

If you are a stacker this may not be the right place but if you are into antiques and cool vintage silver ornaments they have some beautiful items and you get to see a beautiful poodle that will greet you upon entering. The owners are friendly but don’t except a deal on your silver coins or rounds. I was offered $24 for Morgan dollars. Highly recommend for cool decor.
