I have got into very unpleasant situation with financial struggles due to very bad pneumonia and wrongful termination because I was coughing , so I was forced to sell my favorite personal items such as designer bags, shoes , diamond and even glasses . I found this place via chart GPT and brought what was left ( not so much already ) I brought my favorite lab grown 5 karat diamond ring that I ordered in India and it was custom made for me via EBay I paid close 2,000$. Steven the owner of this store paid loaned me 160$ , so pathetic just 160$, I would never do it but consider my very bad situation I said ok, later I have noticed that he gave me and invoice not a contract , I was like wow, totaly wrong documentation I have already dealt with this kind companies in a past and if they see nice stuff they will do everything possible and not possible to trick you and get your belongings from you. Thus, I emailed I said I am sick ( I was in ER 10.30 and 11.12 and 11.26) and I come when I feel better to take my ring , guess what , he did not even reply , probably he is very busy man . Last week on the way to his store I stopped on Seaport , I love this place and right now its just magical , so I took a walk and forgot my purse , when I realized I do not have , of cause it was gone. To say I was upset its say nothing , since I was on the way to Steve’s I decided to come and sell my glasses Chanel I had 2 pairs and buy out my ring and get gas . When I came , Steven greeted me and he was busy buying coins from a lady , I waited. The lady decided to take from him Evaluation Coin class 101, asking millions of questions how does he know so much about coins and coins’s value . Steven professionally replied that he has been doing it all his life and he knows . The lady did not stop , she was keep asking and keep asking , so I lost my patience, I was not rude but I said to her that there are other people I should tell her use chart GPT. Steven asked me to wait , finally she left . So , he was smiling and said if my glasses are fake snd I said why they must be fake and then if I had onions ? Onions ? I was like ? Do I stink ? No I did not have onions ! Anyway , dropping the onion conversation he informed me that last time I sold him fake glasses and I owe him money , I was shocked I did not know they are fake I always buy nice stuff on guilt and of cause I contacted them after he told me the glasses were fake, guilt told me they will do investigation and contact me in 7 business days . Since my bad was stolen I need 20$ for gas , I asked Steven to land me $20.00 and said I will send him Zelle once I get home ( 45 min Max) Daniel , my fiance will send him Zelle. Of cause, I understand he does not have to help , especially in the USA The only person who helps is me , but his reply was I do not care , it’s not my problem. I was humiliated, I just run away from thst store and U wish never come back but I have to come back and buy back my ring and if he will give me hard time I will call police , and buy back my very fake glasses. So , this is my story I wish never even know this kind places exist! They are making money on bad situations thst people get in to : unemployment, sickness, death, divorce. Horrible business !

I came to get my watch battery replaced, and they were very helpful. Additionally, the products in the shop are truly amazing. The owner of the shop was very kind and professional. Highly recommend this place for all your jewelry and repair needs, including buying, selling, and repairs.

I cannot appreciate/recommend this shop enough. My loan contract expired while i was in the hospital and instead of melting down my jewelry or instantly putting my jewelry up for sale, they texted me and were very patient as i worked to get the money to pay to extend my loan. I will never go to another shop!

I stopped by the shop with two watches that were intended to be nonworking ornaments on necklaces I wanted to make. Each watch needed a common part so I could use them in the design I envisioned. The shop was very busy with customers, so I indicated I would wait until it quieted down. I sat down on a corner chair and took note of the clientele who came in. I must say I was quite surprised by the diversity of race, ethnicity, gender, age and class of the people who came in. But I was also very impressed by the way ALL of the customers were treated — with respect, courtesy, patience, non-judgmental, and true professionalism!!!! The humanity of each individual was acknowledged and each person left with their dignity intact and satisfied with their transaction. My turn came and I felt comfortable and confident that what I needed done would be done well!! I also was treated with genuine kindness and goodwill. Thank you!!!!!

A small but very neat and simple lay out. If I didn't look, I would not even noticed the two gentlemen chatting in the corner behind me at a display counter. I knew they were not, but they reminded me of some mobsters stopping by to check on their place, but they gave a brief glance as they talked and carried on. I felt welcome. The fellow at the counter was chatting with another fellow there about what seemed to be a real estate project. I knew right away, these guys were the real deal. Despite being a tall and husky African American, he approached me as if I was 5'2 140lbs, with no indifference in his expressions. I didn't know whether to be glad with that or cautioned about it, but I placed my chains down, he took a brief look and gave me exactly what I wanted for a loan. I have returned there to do business several times since then, and always leaving with deal I wanted. They even gave me a grace period once when I was late to pay off a loan.. exactly what I want when doing business with my sentimental pieces. I would recommend The Jewelers Coin & Loan Co. to anyone looking for real people and a fair deal on your precious pieces!
