Nicely curated and staff is lovely prices are ridiculous for some of the more damaged items, however. Still a great place to look and find gifts.

This one hurts my heart to write but my experience was so awful it needs to be written. I love the pink elephant, i am a frequent shopper here. But i will sadly never be back. I had something in my hand, and put it back bc there was no way i was giving my money to someone who was rude to me. I asked the owners to unlock a cabinet for me, & so they ask where. Well the store is huge so i’m like oh in the back, this way & i pointed. One of them says “in the back, in the corner?” & because it was in the BACK, CORNER ROOM, i say yes i think so. Lady grabbing the keys, extremely nice. Other one, not so much. Nice lady follows me with keys, has wrong one no biggie, still extremely nice about it. Other owner comes over as the other one is grabbing the correct keys and says “Did she get it?” I say “oh! she had the wrong keys she’s going grab them” kindly. She decides to say to me “Well this isn’t the back corner. That’s why she had the wrong keys.” I say okay…. She says “that’s on YOU” rudely and points at me. Yeah. Sadly i can’t come back. I did nothing wrong & was treated terribly. Amazing store, but she majorly needs to work on her customer service. My 4 friends & I were very baffled.

Does a window display that you have to see. Love them, this was at Christmas. That's my opinion anyway!! Aka Google maps.

Really enjoyed Pink Elephant. We love to visit thrift stores all over Louisiana and drove just about 2 hours to explore this one. Let’s just say we were not disappointed. We will definitely be back to purchase some larger vintage items very soon .

I would not recommend doing business with the pink elephant. The owner Albert is a horrible little man. I’ve never seen anyone more hateful or angry. He must really hate his life to be so unhappy and hateful to people. I would give minus stars if it was possible because he doesn’t even deserve one! After I wrote this review, I started reading some of the other reviews. I see that many people had the same impression as me about the owner. There is absolutely no reason to be rude and hateful to your customers. That’s the fastest way to lose a customer. I sure hope people heed my warning and read the other reviews about how rude this person is. I would never shop anyplace where the Customer is treated with such disrespect and not appreciated. I see that the owner has Responded to other reviews that said he was rude by saying sorry this is not your store. Apparently he has no idea Or simply doesn’t care that he’s so disgustingly horrible to people . There’s absolutely no reason to treat people that way, especially if you’re in the retail business. He has no remorse or regret for the way that he treats people. I highly recommend not doing business with him. There’s too many other places that appreciate your business. Stay clear of this one.

Update: Looking through the reviews left by unhappy customers.. seeing how this company has responded to customers feedback which your company should rely on.. is horrendous and catty!!! Absolutely won’t be returning just so i can be profiled by some older white women behind the counter??? No thanks! First time going here since i’m newer to the Baton Rouge area. Walked in the store and was politely greeted while starting to look around; they have such beautiful items on display and of course there are things on the pricier side because it’s vintage, but it’s to be expected! The atmosphere in there was immaculate, as each booth had its own unique vibe and my friend and i loved every minute of it. EXCEPT for when we noticed one specific employee was noticeably following us throughout the ENTIRE STORE. This store is huge, has weird nooks and crannies because there are so many items, as well as tight spaces to squeeze through. We both had smaller purses and are in our mid twenties looking for cute wine glasses to drink from wait out the winter storm this weekend. Every booth we went into, she followed, and didn’t even try to act like she was looking at items herself or fixing anything?? Genuinely she just followed and watched us while we walked around for what felt like an hour because there’s so much to the store. To be treated this way the first time you enter an establishment is sad, maybe this company could invest in cameras instead as you’ll draw away your customers. Most likely will not be returning here on account of being treated like a thief and needing to be watched on every booth we went into.

Loved this store, the dealers have some first rate items!! A “must” visit when in Baton Rouge!
