Go to cash America they will low ball you especially the Chinese / Vietnamese lady . Tried giving me 10$ for an oz of silver

Haggling is there profession! Make sure you research the year and information of your item that you are pawning. Great items too buy pre-used and or new.

Prices are just ridiculous, battery powered tools were at or even above the price of new ones, anything electronic is way overpriced and they don’t even negotiate, even when paying cash. The staff was decently kind but respectfully, this place isn’t worth your time

I got a great Takamine EG540C guitar that’s been well loved and modified but still in good condition at an excellent price. The women who helped me today were both incredibly sweet and helpful and found me exactly what I needed. I would give you more stars if I could, I love this guitar!

I visited Magazine Pawn Shop twice during my recent trip to New Orleans, and it was easily one of the highlights of my time in the city. The shop itself is great, but the staff truly makes the experience. I had a wonderful time chatting with Christine, who is incredibly friendly and impressively knowledgeable about their inventory. Meeting Donna (such a cutie!) was also a pleasure. They make you feel welcome the moment you walk through the door. If you’re looking for a spot with great energy and expert service, definitely stop by. I’ll be making this a mandatory stop every time I’m back in NOLA!
