Very rude did not want to even try to do business
It has served me well as my perfered FFL dealer on several occasions. Always like doing business with Dale.
Not a very talkative guy but he takes care of you. My preferred ffl for transfers and online orders. Prefers to do business with cash so be prepared
So yesterday august 17 Trent ( my boyfriend ) went to get a chain from @dalespawnshop in down town breaux bridge when he got there he found one he wanted and was talking pricing with the OWNER , the owners then told Trent that if he had cash he would give him 20% off so trent went to the ATM and got cash $80 when he returned to the store the owner/salesman took his money and then proceeded to go clean the chain he had just bought he went to the back then came up to the front and was acting confused on where he put the chain so Trent was trying to help him saying he went to the back to clean it he then proceeds to say that Trent stole it and made Trent empty his pockets three different times when Trent said he did not touch it did nor had it and never held the necklace. The owner then would refuse to give Trent his $80 back since he claimed he stole the necklace, so Trent then called the police they came and the police said there was nothing they can do because the guy was saying that Trent stole it and Trent had never held it and the guy had no cameras so there was no way of proving what actually happened! Not only did this please steal Trent‘s $80 but they also kept the necklace which was the product that he had purchased and Trent received neither one. This is my review of this please stealing con and when I called the shop and asked to speak to a manager The owner said this is the owner when he answered so I didn’t proceeded to say my boyfriend just went in to get a necklace and I explain the situation and he hung up on me without even talking about the situation and then proceeded to call back and got no answer this place is horrible customer service and steals this is my review of dales pawnshop be careful where you go!
NOT HONEST PEOPLE!! I'm GLAD I checked the price of gold & weighed what I had @ home before I went!! I was dealing with a Polite Older gentleman (only reason they got 2 stars!) I was quoted $65.00 I Knew that was OFF! I politely thanked him & left Today I went to a pawn shop in Lafayette & I Recieved $120.00 So to me they tried to short me by HALF!! I will NEVER recommend thus shop to anyone ever! That's too bad! Definitely a "Local Business that is NOT TRUTHFUL!!
I’ve done business with Mr Joe Dale and purchased multiple items including original antique Wagner magnalite pots not that fake stuff which he knows a lot about as he collects personally (which he has a nice size collection for sale to offer). Super nice guy, down to earth, and will shoot you straight. And if you are trying to sell things to a pawn shop keep in mind you can not get retail cost as it is a business and he has to resale it for a profit and pay inventory taxes until it sells.
