Went in there to check out some pocket knives. They had a little tub with a bunch of cheap knives just thrown in and piled on top of each other with a tag that says something like “any knife $5” that being said they are obviously not anything of significant value. I asked to see the tub of knives (had this been just about any other pawn shop they’d throw the tub on the counter and let you look thru and pick out what you wanted.) but the lady asked me “which one do you want to see?” And obviously since theyre all just thrown in there piled on top of there I couldn’t tell her which one I wanted to see because I couldn’t see half of them. She said she couldn’t set them on the counter because I couldn’t pick a specific one out so I just walked out. Last time I go knife hunting in that pawn shop for a while. Might give them another shot in a few months and see if they will do better next time.— Alex, Mar 2025
