Today, February 14, 2026, I went to another jewelry store here in Louisville where they were paying me $70 per gram for 14k gold and they paid me $85 per gram. Look at the difference! A word to the wise is sufficient.

Brought 3 chains to get fixed they gave them back still broken and we had to pay for it. TRASH go somewhere else.

I felt so out of place being in this place of business. My first time ever going to this place and after being in there today for about 10 minutes looking around, no one asked me of if i needed help or wanted to see anything. I was ignored the whole time. I don’t know if it’s because i’m African-American or what. Finally i was like forget it and just left. I really hated my first time experience here, because i really wanted to purchase something.
I SOLD GOLD THERE ONCE BEFORE and everything was ok so i went back maybe 6 months later and i handed the lady a heart pendant marked 10k and 2 14k earrrings marked and another i could not read she looked and them and said there not gold i said how can you tell ? i just want to know so then she did the scratch test with solution and shock her head i said how can you tell by that so she took them to the back and came back out and said they are not gold i did not say anything i was polite even though she acted snobby and upty toward me.....really hurt my feelings if you did not want to buy from me you should of said that, not that it was not gold so i left ....i took them down the street they were gold 10k and 14k and i got paid but i will never go back to la illusion i must not be good enough to sell gold to them ...thats how i was treated and felt ... i can be treated like shit on the street know need to go there to be treated like crap.....
