Do they do background checks here when purchasing a gun? I do have a record but no felonies, those charges are in another state. I have enjoyed being able to stop in and purchase items several times. Jessie the owner is a very approachable guy and has cut us several pretty good deals. For a minor fee, a person can have a weapon shipped here from anywhere in the country if they wish. The couple that work for him in the shop have also been friendly during our visits. Very good service with friendly nice people. They were very helpful and had a good large selection, they will be my preferred local store for the Madison-county area. Highly reccommend. Only problem was when looking for a PX4 with the rotating barrel asked if they had one, I got sold the subcompact with the tilting barrel(my mistake, wasn't aware the subcompact was different.)
