Heartland Coin

Very kind and informative. I highly recommend them whether you're browsing to purchase or selling. Definitely will be going back.

The lady behind the counter didn't even closely examine my coins. These are tiny coins, the size of a pea. I got the feeling she was just not interested in giving them much attention. No worries though, I will not be returning there.

So far so good. Actually haven't had a lot of interaction with the owner other than just buying a couple of pieces here n there but they seem pretty fair. Decent prices. 2 bucks over spot for .999 fine Ag last time in.

Don't believe the bad reviews. Been in a few times over the years and he has always been a gentleman. Even when he had to tell me the silver coins I was given were fake haha. I'd recommend his shop to anyone.

Very Knowledgeable people. They are more than fair with prices and I have been going there every couple weeks for about 5 months. Fair selling and buying prices. They were kind to take there time with every customer. If you are looking for a coin shop to go to with good quality service and good quality people with good quality prices, THIS is the place. I will be going here for many, many more years. Very happy.

Business appears Closed! I went on Tuesday and was told they are only open Wed. Thurs and Fri. So I went again on Wed and found out they are closed. Not sure if they went out of business totally

Great people

First class people if you need to know something they will absolutely tell you the truth. They will give you a fair price and if they can't they will tell you where to go to get a fair price excellent excellent excellent people.

I think I went into the store and I think I got ripped off out of my wheat pennies

Awesome people to deal with

My daughter and I visited, our first time in a coin shop. We are ignorant to the hobby and we enjoyed the conversation and information. We bought my daughter her first coin. Thanks for your time

I just happened to find and read the reviews of the Heartland Coins shop. Anyone, and I mean anyone, who gives Heartland Coins a review that is less than Five Stars, is just being stupid. I have been buying coins and silver from Heartland Coins for years. I will NEVER go anywhere else for my wants and needs. I have been in the shop many-many times, and the owner has ALWAYS been Honest, Informed, and Trustworthy. He's always easy to talk to, and is always fair with other customers who enter his store while I am there. I always try to purchase something from him, because he usually has something I want at a great price. If you don't know the coin or precious metals business, then don't leave any negative reviews. If you DO know the coin business, you'd never want leave anything less that five stars. So, to his point, pick on someone else and stop hiding your ignorance behind a cowardly screen. He runs one of the most trustworthy businesses in the commonwealth. I know, because I am a repeat customer.

This store is the epitome of a 'mom and pop' small business. The owners were welcoming and I did not feel pressured to buy anything. Barry answered all of my questions about Silver. He is a straight shooter even if the subject is not about coins. I like this place and will do more business with them in the future.

To be clear from the start, I did not make a purchase from this store, but I stopped there while traveling for work today and thoroughly enjoyed my time. I made it clear I was browsing and was unlikely to purchase, but the man and woman working the counter were no less polite, attentive, and offered enjoyable conversation about their inventory and coin collecting in general. An older gentleman came in with a few coins he was interested in selling and the gentleman behind the counter took his time to explain composition, value, and various points that would increase or decrease the rarity of particular items. The woman spoke politely at length to a caller, answering half a dozen or more questions with a pleasant and attentive disposition. Again, I didn't purchase anything, but they treated me with no less respect and attention than if I had spent $1000. The customer service I watched them provide during my visit was above and beyond what I see at most establishments anymore. I highly recommend stopping in Heartland if you're ever in Elizabethtown. I don't believe you'll be disappointed.

Honest review. My family has lived in elizabethtown for over 68 years before elizabethtown became something worth seeing with dirt roads. Back then people where honest and straight forward hard to find these days. At first site the store was barely noticeable but once I stepped in it was nice and very well setup with a good collection of valuable coins. First thought I was like ok maybe this coin shop unlike others will help me out vs rip me off or lie telling me my coins are worthless when in fact they are not. Unfortunately this was not the case. They have been appraised and are valuable ranging from $100 to $800. Only took maybe 8 coins just to see if i got an honest estimate. Well not only did the lady not give the correct answer of what they was made of but she only valued them based on gold silver mercury ect. Not paying attention to detail of errors or the year's which is the two biggest aspects of what makes a coin most valuable besides the material to begin with. The guy that runs the shop was busy unfortunately but he was doing his job and helping someone he seemed like he knew alot more and I should have talked to him maybe. Well needless to say she lacked experience so like others I don't know if I will be back. Good luck to the shop and the owner 🙂
