Cherokee coins & Jewelry has always been great to do business with, they have always been happy to assist me with any of my coin collecting needs. Every time I get the chance to visit with them, I stop in. I am never pressured into buying anything and I always receive great pricing from them and I'm sure they'll make you feel comfortable too, super great people and an abundance of inventory. If you are buying for a collector, looking to stack silver or gold, adding to your personal coin collection or starting a child into the hobby, Cherokee is a great place to stop in to find that coin, roll, album or mint and proof sets you're looking for! They have gone out of their way to help me find some coins I've needed, the 1909-s VDB wheat cent is a great example, Steve picked it up for me from an annual FUN Coin Show in Orlando Florida years ago! They are as good as a best friend in the business. Check with these guys before buying coins elsewhere, they don't mind giving you an idea on a coin and/or values in case you are interested in buying or selling. If you have a large amount of coins you want to sell, give them a call and set up an appointment, it would probably work out the best. Buying from a professional can save you in the long run too, because China is pumping out so many fake coins into the market nowadays, you can rest assured there's not any being sold out of Cherokee, they know their business and carry the real McCoy's! I've been in this store several times.... always a great experience... years ago though. I'll be stopping in very soon again (within a couple days).... I will expect to be treated like a paying customer, whether I buy anything at that time or not. 😀

!!!!!!DO NOT SELL COINS HERE!!!!!! This guy is nothing more than a shady pawn broker in disguise. He will fast talk you while shifting everything around on the glass like a blackjack dealer. Pays 40-50% of melt on coins with numismatic value. He claims he sells better date Morgans for $50 and offers $35 for them. Do yourself a favor and just sell your stuff somewhere else.

These guys are awesome! Amazing deals, super nice, patient with you if you have questions and they are very knowledgeable with coins, jewelry and paper currency! Im definitely going back. My number one store to shop from!!

Just left there, completely low balled me for a coin worth at minimum $150. Do not go here. Scam artists. On top of that I introduced myself professionally and was met with rudeness and an unwelcome vibe. Shame on this local business. Edit after owners response: Why would I lie about coming here, holding out my hand in a professional gesture and introducing myself and not being met with a proper handshake when the older gentleman, not the smaller gentleman to be precise, wouldn't even reciprocate the same professionalism back to me by shaking my hand back and introducing himself? I didn't pay too much for the coin, as a matter of fact here is a photo of the same coin that sold for $280 on an eBay auction. I just wanted to support a local business rather than a corporation like eBay, as supporting local businesses is something I encourage all people of my city to do. Let the photos tell the rest of the story here and don't be fooled by the owners own ignorance in his response. The first two photos are of my coin, the third photo is a photo I took from my MacBook, apologies for the quality of it in advance, proving that the coins true value was much more than $90. Again, I stress that you don't take your business here as this is my very real experience that I had going to this coin shop.

What can I say? What you see is what you get with Cherokee Coins. Fast and friendly service, I had an excellent experience selling some inherited coins and gold scraps here.

This was my second time visiting (they bought a couple of gold rings from me a year or so ago). I had a bunch of sterling silver rings and necklaces I'm looking to sell, and while I didn't have anything they needed, they were super kind and helpful and we got to talk about metals and their strenghs. You can tell they're knowledgeable in what they do and they encouraged me to come back if I did have any gold or thick silver they were looking for. Ironically they also carry the type of chains I wear for necklaces so I'll definitely go back to buy from them in the future. Overall great experience there.

Friendly and patient with all my novice silver buying questions. Very knowledgeable and willing to take the time to share his knowledge. No pressure and reasonable prices too. I'll be back.

$10 on under spot price is wild specially when silver is going up and the value of it is worth way more and all these shops are trying to scam us and give us under spot price as soon as the beginning of the week started today it went back up five dollars. People need to stop selling their silver for anything less than spot. Make these coin shop suffer so they give us our worth on our silver that we bought not them scamming us because we need money given us under spot price when they know what’s going on. They know the silver’s going up and it’s gonna keep going up so the value should be worth more for what they have what they’re trying to give us just saying my opinion I’m not selling none of my silver eagles or Canadian because here soon it will be worth two to $300. People need to think about this transfer wealth.

My wife and I had an appointment today to get an appraisal on her parents coin collection. The team at Cherokee Coin spent well over an hour meticulously examining our small collection and gave us a thorough and honest assessment. We were extremely impressed and will definitely go back. Great experience all around!
