This has been the only pawn shop I would use here in town for the last 15 years, but that has most definitely changed after today, they have new staff and I believe they are going to ruin this place for a lot of people, I took in well over $400 in items and was told how much I would get for each item, then when he was done looking everything up I asked, ok so how much for everything and the amount for everything was $30 less than what he originally said had each item been sold individually and then I was told I wasn't able to pawn it I HAD to sell it to them, the radar detector alone was a $250 radar detector that he said was only selling for $20, but after doing my own research they are selling used on eBay for $149-$179, and those are completed sales, yeah I should have done my own research prior to going in, but that's no excuse for them lying and taking advantage of people just to make a buck!!

Been in a couple times they just low ball so bad you you take something brand new in too them and they won't give you 30 percent of what they are gonna gonna sell it for really gone down hill since sosince the new management came in and people came in go too American cash exchange

Condescending and lacking in customer service skills. Horrifyingly lowballed offers. I’ve tried to pawn here multiple times and they have never once made a remotely reasonable offer, nor have they ever made an effort to be polite. American Cash Exchange has always been above-and-beyond, offered great deals and had wonderful customer service. I would highly recommend going directly to another pawn shop rather than wasting your time here.

I would give them a zero if I could, first off their customer service has went downhill by a lot and they were rude to me when I was asking for a reasonable price. Second, they low ball you so hard, I was trying to sell silver which was at $35 at the time, and they were trying to buy it for $10!!! Then I asked for a pretty reasonable price for them which was $27.50, and they were so rude telling me to leave if i was going to give them "bs prices". I would recommend American Cash Exchange 10 out of 10 times. Their workers were very kind and helpful, and must of all, they don't low ball their customers.

I didn't actually buy or anything from them. I contacted them through a FB Marketplace offering to sell a used PS5 for 430 dollars. I asked if they would take a lower amount, as there were sales from brand new PS5s for only 400 dollars, and they wouldn't. I later contacted them about an e-mail address, I had some things I was interested in maybe trading towards it. Their response was they don't take trades. The website in this google link says they do. So, it is a pawn shop that charges higher prices than brand new for used, won't negotiate on their higher than brand new prices, and won't even ask about what items you have to trade in. Probably for the better, based on much of what I see in the reviews, it appears that other people feel they offer far less than other pawn shops would offer. All in all, I would avoid them. Better deals elsewhere.
