I was referred to this shop by a good friend named Mike, he is dealing with cancer, but he is still getting out and stacking silver and also donating silver and coins to benefit cancer charities. He said this is the only place in the area that he trusts, so i came in and i bought well over $1,000.00 in precious metals on my first visit.

Love this shop! Have been a few times so far and owner is super nice, knowledgeable, and has really good prices. I’ve found a few coins I’ve been wanting for years and wish I had more time to just look at everything in the shop. Great store, highly recommend!

A friend of mine from our Cancer center does a lot of auctions to help out cancer patients, his name is Mike and he said this is the only place he buys gold and silver, so this is the only place myself and others have been going. The owner is very fair, and his dog is cute. I meant to post this review months ago, but i forgot. I have bought over 20k in gold and silver since Mike sent me here. Give this place a shot, its a good place and it comes highly recommended.

Owner is straight forward. Sold some silver bullion recently due to the crazy run on spot prices and I get the feeling he is doing his best to be fair during a historic run on silver. I felt I was treated very well and the pricing was better than online buyers i checked. I will go back for sure.

I really wish I could give this place a better rating being that this is the only place in town for coins, but after visiting this shop 3-4 times over as many years, I cannot. I’m sure the proprietor is a good guy and knows a hell of a lot more about numismatics than I ever will, but he is really not a helpful or nice person if you are trying to break into the hobby. This last time I went in: Out of some thousands of coins in his shop “nothing for sale”, did not elaborate or care to tell me to come back at another time. Not even just a simple “hey man my inventory is pretty thin right now but you’re welcome to look around” or anything like that. In the past when I have been in , I will say that I successfully purchased some coins at a fair price, which is why I am giving 3 stars, but even then, I remember feeling very not welcome. I went in and kind of said “hi, I’m kind of new to this and these are some coins I’m interested in” and he just kind of left me to it. I understand it’s not a proprietor’s responsibility to educate a novice on every aspect of numismatics but if someone comes in who has obviously done some research and is interested, it would go a long way to simply provide a bit of guidance, and would be positive for everyone. The unfortunate result of acting like you don’t have the time of day is that people will just go online, this is bad for several reasons: 1. The store loses business. 2. In a niche hobby like this , it’s really great to have a local place to support. 3. It’s way more likely for one to have a negative experience online , which will only serve to drive people away from the hobby. Unfortunately I have to say that I will not be coming back here anymore.
