I came in with three oz of silver which is worth 147 and they tried to offer us 90 which is more than 35%, then my girlfriend said it’s more than 15% and she said yea its 20% my girl responded no maam its not and the old lady said well you’re being disrespectful so I went off her and left because what’s disrespectful about sayin no maam it’s not ! The older lady who works there has a terrible attitude. Reading thru all the reviews I was genuinely nervous to give the shop a try. But after my visit I don’t know where all the negative comes from. Yes I did not get what I was hoping for out of my items but the gentleman made perfect sense when he explained to me why and where the offer came from. Over all he was very pleasant, explained the entire process, and even gave me a loan on some items that he said he will ultimately not even be able to sell. But he gave me the loan because I was in need of the cash. One of the 5 star reviews I read earlier said he thought most of the bad and negative reviews were from people that just needed to grow up. And after my visit I can see why. If you act like an adult and go in with the understanding that this is a pawn shop and they need to make their money too, then you will have a positive experience just like I did.— Bill Maust, Jan 2026
