I've been coming to Royal Pawn for a while now (unfortunately for my wallet!), but every visit is always a great experience. Randy, the owner, truly takes care of his people, he’s honest, respectful, and makes sure you’re getting treated fairly. The rest of the staff is top-notch too. HY, Jordan, Alex, and Elyse are all super friendly and helpful every time I stop by. The shop itself is always clean and organized, which says a lot about how they run things. Just good people all around, highly recommend if you’re looking for a trustworthy and welcoming pawn shop in Chicago.

My partner and I got my engagement ring here and had a fantastic time. The owners and staff, cute animals, and fair pricing made it a great experience. They were able to squeak out a same-day ring sizing for us as well. 10/10!

Enjoyed being able to find the engagement ring I wanted, at a good price, and get it set for sizing (to be done in 3 hours) within 20 minutes. Also enjoy the animals. Bring a good attitude, get a good attitude. Bring a bad one, you still get a good one. I’m from MN and I am glad I could get this done in time for the show tonight that I plan to propose at. The owner and his daughter are really great people, A True Chicago family. There prices are fair and competitive. There kind and genuinely care. There not your typical "tuff guy" pawn shop. My wife and I went in there and bought her a beautiful wedding ring, the daughter if the owner was so kind and went out if her way to help us find something beautiful that was in our budget. Great great true Chicago family.
