This post is long, but trust me read it before you go to this store. I have been to this dealer several times throughout my life. Mainly when my dad took me as a kid. However, since he has passed I visited this shop approximately 4 times. The first two times was to sell silver eagles. They offered a fair price, slighlty lower than other dealers but I was satisfied with the deal. Later one I wanted to sell a $1 star note with the serial number *00004420 I cant remember the year but it was pre 2015 and I tried selling it in 2022. The value of it, in its condition was around $20-$25 they offered me $2 but basically said they didn't want it. I was offered the full $25 by another dealer nearby mainly because he wanted it in his own personal collection. Finally the last time. I went in to sell some Morgan Silver dollars on 08/26/2025. The price of silver was roughly $39.50 per oz when I tried to sell, the weight of silver in a morgan silver approximately 0.7734 troy ounces of silver meaning the melt value was about $30.55. He said the melt value was $29 and offered me $23 per coin. He did raise the price to $25 per coin… he comented something about another company offering to buy them for $27 under his breath and his ’profit would be low’. I did sell the two coins, however I later called up two coin dealers in the Beloit area. L&B Coins and Collectibles and J&G’s Coins Rings & things and the lowest they offered was $27 a coin and upto $30 depending on condition. Any dealer should offer a minimum of 90% melt value which at the time was $27.45 but, $27 is still fair. I sold the coins but I wont do business with them again. I have a lot of old packs of unopened pokemon cards I was going to bring in from 1999 but now? I know they will low ball me hard. It’s clear you can get better deals elsewhere, there was one shop that used to offer 99% melt value for gold/silver in the area but he retired recently. Call around before you decide to sell, get the most you can. Dont accept lowball offers.

Went in to send my card to get graded, they were very helpful and it was cheaper than I was expecting. Great selection of cards and will definitely be back.

Absolutely the most terrible coin store I’ve ever been to. Or any store for that matter. The owner left me standing in the store for an hour without saying anything to me. I was waiting by the register. Someone called in and asked about silver and gold prices while I waited. They drove right in and he helped them before me. I guess they mattered more because they had thousands of dollars worth of stuff to sell. All that just to get offered a less than fair price for what I was selling.

Great coin and collectable place! I shopped around and they offered the best price. I thought the guys were friendly and knowledgeable. I don't get the negative reviews. Some people think they should be waited on the second they walk in the door even if the staff is helping others.
