This is the greatest coin shop I have ever been in. The people here are so knowledgeable and super kind. I have gotten tons of estimates for coins, jewelry, and a lot more from other shops and I'm never happy with the price I get and then I come here and I'm blown away I will a lot of the time get hundreds more here than I will anywhere else these people are unbelievable! I have bought from them too and I get the best price every single time. I will never stop going here and can't say enough good about them.

Great place. Had a decent amount of silver to unload and some foreign coins. Was in and out pretty quick. The gentleman taking care of me was very helpful and patient checking my stuff out. And they almost doubled what PGS in villa park offered on silver Morgan’s

Let me begin by saying I am not paid nor ask to leave this review. Having coins evaluated is new to me and I was prepared to go from vendor to vendor to find someone that I can trust. After talking with a few vendors at a coin show in Rosemont IL, and doing research for local vendors, I had a list of five places I wanted to visit. The 1st vendor on the south side of Chicago met with some bad reviews, so I went to the next vendor on my list and the reviews were wonderful. On Jan 22nd, I decided to check them out. And to my surprise I was very pleased with Distinctive Coins. I took a handful of quarters to them. I was acknowledged when I walked through the door. There were two customers before me and they seem to be having a pleasant conversation and/or relationship with the gentlemen serving them. As soon as one employee was done with his customer he immediately came to my aid. The employee who assisted me name is Ray. Very nice. Very informative. Took his time with me. Customer service voice. Very welcoming. Been in the business for years. No pressure at all. He wanted me to take my time and waited for me to call my family to discuss. He explained how the buying process works and shared he would be happy to help me with others coins. I will definitely go back so he can teach me what I need to know in buying and selling coins. I felt comfortable with him.

Walked in with some loose jewelry and coins just to get evaluated. I was greeted by Ray and he went above and beyond in timely manner helping me to get the best price value for my gold. I am super happy to have met Ray and went to this location. Fast service! I recommend!!
