Frank is extremely knowledgeable and offers great prices on your scrap gold/silver and silver coins. Even though I moved further west, I still make the trip out to the shop. One of the best in the Chicagoland area. Update 09/13/25: Frank once again is the best and extremely fair and knowledgeable. It was pleasure again. Wish I lived closer to his shop.

Brought some gold jewelry to sell. They weigh the stuff far away from the counter, out of your view, so you can't see or know what it weighs and they throw you a low price. They offered way less than it was worth. Don't ever sell your gold here.

The coin store is very disorganized and sloppy and I've been to more than a few. I called ahead and asked if I needed an appointment to have my coins checked for their value as I was interested in selling them. I was told I didn't need one. I was told I could get an estimate of the value of the coins if I brought them to the store with no obligation to sell. I went to the store and was the only customer. Frank looked over my coins but quickly became distracted as other customers entered. He became very short and rude with me. He never finished reviewing my coins and wouldn't give be an estimate for the value of my coins. It was a waste of my time to go to this store. I wouldn't go there again.

Stock a little low but totally understandable given current market craziness. Prices actually very reasonable. Will definitely be returning when things cool off to start stacking again.
