Had a good time picking up some silver today! Found myself walking away with what I felt was a fair and good purchase. The only thing I would recommend is bringing in cash. Card reader charges 3% on the purchase so that with taxes could add up.

Took some coins in to get an appraisal. I told him I didn't know much about the coins (which was not true) just to hear what he had to say. He looked at my coins one by one and told me they were junk. I put a pure gold coin in front of him. Worth $3200 and he said it was junk. His opinion is junk not my coins. I do not recommend taking anything to him. In response to Lawerence: I didn't come into your shop looking for an offer. I would have denied any offer made because of how rude you were. You talked down to me and my family. You had zero interest in helping me learn more about my collection.

Larry is only worried about making sure he gets the better end of the deal. He won't negotiate at all. No deals for purchasing several items. His prices are on the high end of the spectrum and if you sell him anything you can definitely expect to get an offer on the low-end. I would not recommend someone new to the hobby go here. You will over pay if buying and get underpaid if selling.
