we went in on a whim just passing through. ended up getting a history lesson in silver mining. we made very minimal purchases but were treated like we spent thousands. absolutely loved it. can't wait to go back

It’s a great ship with great people however I have to give 3 stars as they are selling modern made obsidian arrowheads/spearpoints/worked flakes - although they do not say they are authentic they are not selling them as reproductions so just be aware that you are not looking at real authentic old Native American arrowheads - BUT I love the store and they have unbelievable minerals / fossils / other collectibles so don’t let that out you off a visit to this interesting place!

Awesome store with a large selection of stones, gems, antiques, and memorabilia. The staff were friendly and loved showing off the merchandise. Prices were very reasonable. A lot to see here and some neat history as well.

The staff are fantastic to work with and very knowledgeable! I’ve even had them make up custom pieces for family members. Can’t recommend Johnson’s Gems enough! If you have kids it’s a fun place to just walk thru and treat the kids to a FREE viewing of minerals that glow in the dark. Right near the Center of the Universe manhole cover, in Historic Wallace, Idaho!
