I can’t bring myself to give this place anything other than 5 stars. I came here for video games, and it’s about what I’d expect for rural Iowa. It’s an overwhelming majority Xbox 360 and PS3 games and things like Madden or Call of Duty, with a few games like Fallout New Vegas or Saints Row sprinkled into the mix. You can still find stuff like Nigel Mansell’s Racing for the SNES or Secret Agent Clank for the PSP but they’re not in super great condition. I wanted to get a copy of Luigi’s mansion but the disk looked like someone took a nail file to it. Now this place doesn’t specialize in video games and it’s in rural Iowa so I’m not surprised, and I did enjoy going through it to see everything they had. I did end up getting a cute backpack at the end of the day. And it was great talking with the woman who worked there. We talked about travel and where we grew up, it was very lovely and honestly I think that was better than anything I could have bought.— Harper Goldman, Jan 2026
