I stopped by in early December on my first trip to Hawaii. I had no idea my beloved Moomins were in Hawaii! The store was small and didn't have a huge selection of merchandise, but all of the Aloha Moomin designs were so cute, I had a hard time deciding what to buy. ππ΄πΊ I ended up buying several of the store's exclusive gift bags as souvenirs. ππ©΅

Moomin Shop Hawaii is a really cool clothing and collectible store. I had a great first experience visiting and found their art / products to stand out from other stores. Staff is super friendly, I'd say come here to view what they offer and see if you fancy anything as a recommendation. This would be a great gift choice while visiting the Ala Moana shopping center. A retail store that is dedicated to sell Moomin merchandises. It is not a very well-known animation, I only knew about this from watching TV when I was a child and I was too young to understand. However, this spring spot my memory of how much I like watching the show when I saw the store I could not help it and kept going around and looking at the merchandise. Even though none of the items are suitable for me to purchase but I just love seeing them. There is quite a number of items that is Hawaii specified for those who love to collect then this is a shop that you should not missed.
The shop has moved!!! It's now downstairs by the Ala Moana Center Stage! I'm so glad I realized it moved because I came to this shop the last time I was in Hawaii and was going to be so sad if it had closed - their items are SUCH high quality, and I use my Moomin tote bag so often that I wanted another one this time around! I also bought a shirt for my boyfriend and he LOVES it bc of how great the material is (soft but sturdy). Their designs are so cute and make awesome gifts, but I'm definitely here to shop for myself this store is definitely worth a visit whenever you're in Honolulu!

Super adorable Moomin store. I love the postcards, stationary items and Hawaii exclusive merchandise. Reasonably priced and plenty of options for stickers, mugs, and clothes.
