Great place to put up gifts and souvenirs. Wife calls the day pearls and palace as we typically visit the palace after.
If you want a bead store for finding strands of facetted crystal, pearls, jade, coral hanging from overhead displays, in long display cases and more in all colors stop by. The owner is very gracious and leaves you alone to browse or shows you many choices of what you may be looking for. Browsing is the best part. Taking it all in while a sweet tabby greets you with a kiss and a round little pug behind his guard gate shows you he’s serious about keeping watch. And every time I’ve been here the owner takes time with you, doesn’t hound or ignore you and sends you home with you treasures in satin gift envelopes and an extra token treasure for stopping by the store. I still have the last one in my wallet for “safe travels”. Parking is a little hard to find, a lot nearby thats the same $3 price as the street meters. Two years ago I was looking for excitement and I just took the city transit here. Not Far from Waikiki in the heart of Chinatown. This visit a hometown acquaintance (who has a wonderful home here and there) had recommended the exact same place. I was so mesmerized I forgot to bring out the old iphone for a pic...oh well, must stop by again before we leave.
This is a must every time I visit Oahu!! the family is so friendly, kind and helpful and I always get so much for my money here. I buy beautiful Christmas and Birthday gifts and souvenirs here. Such an excellent election of pearls and fabulous prices.
