Thornton's

Over the years I have bought quite a few things from Thortons but I won’t be back. Seeing literal Nazi memorabilia for sale was extremely disappointing. I understand such things being in a museum to teach of the atrocities committed during World War Two but to see it for sale makes me sick. I can put up with a lot but NAZI stuff come on, do better Thortons.

Went here the other day looking for a new video game to play. I was thoroughly surprised to see a better selection and prices than most retro game shops and GameStop! Thanks for the great service.

I know Joe personally and he is a very nice person. He is always honest and has great deals.

I went today to sell a coin, I was shocked. They actually made me a good offer. I’ve never had that experience at any pawnshop. All of them that I’ve been to in the past would give me a ridiculous offer so low it was an insult. Joe took the time to explain his offer and everything he told me was truthful. I had already done my due diligence and knew what it was worth, which is your responsibility not theirs. Thanks Joe.

Great prices, willingness to negotiate, very informed on products, & truly a long running family owned, & run, business. Nothing I have ever purchased there was subpar, like many other pawn shops. They have a vast selection of products. My thought after many types of transactions with them is that anyone should use this as their pawn shop for pawn or the purchase of high quality used goods... Most of the products are in phenomenal shape. I am very happy to support a long-standing family run business in my community.

I bought quite a few different things from Thornton and trusted them. Yesterday I bought an air rifle from them and when I got a chance to double check the value they had doubled it. They outright lied to me when I asked for their price. They nearly doubled the retail value and said they priced it for half that, and I trusted them. Im so dumb for not checking before I bought it. Lesson learned. They'll lie to you and rip you off without blinking an eye. I'm not happy with myself for trusting them.

Dishonest business practices. This place completely took advantage of a disabled young man selling a gold ring who was clearly very confused and had no idea what he was doing. Lowball is an understatement. To be charged an extra $125 to get it back after 4 whole days ! To add to the insult....... next time know.....a disabled persons helper is called a caregiver, not a "HANDLER!" There's a special place for people like you..

I do like everyone there. they're all very kind and easy to get along with while shopping. In my opinion they seem to offer much lower than they should to make a better profit. Though that is how they pay the bills. Others had told me the same thing. For the most part they have fair prices. I do feel they have always been fair with me. I suggest you come check them out for yourselves. they do have a very nicely kept store and they probably have what you're looking for in a pawn shop and more. They aren't selling junk that's for sure
