Hancock & Harwell Rare Gold

I called this dealer to try and handle a bullion transaction and when they picked up they immediately asked me who I was without announcing their business name. I then proceeded to tell them that I was looking to sell bullion and they said goodbye and hung up in my face. What a rude and unprofessional (insert ad hominem attack) this person must be to have a google registered business and not announce themselves when potential clients call.

Recently purchased precious metals from Hancock & Harwell. Very trustworthy and professional company. Knowing who will be honest and fair when making this kind of purchase is extremely important to me. Will definitely do business with them in the future.

I have never felt more discriminated against in my life! I arrived and was met at the door by Bob. I greeted Bob and he asked how can I help you without returning the greeting. I told him that I wanted to sell some bullion. He did not invite me in at that point but rather proceeded to talk to me at the door as he blocked the entrance. Bob asked what I had and I turned my hand over to reveal the bullion bar. He immediately says "Oh! We don't buy bars--we only deal with coins." I replied that on your website it doesn't say anything to that. He said, "yeah well we only deal with bullion coins." Then he asked me how many did I have, as if it was any of his concern since as he said, "...we only deal with bullion coins."I have added a screencapture of their website to my review where they advertise acceptance of gold of all types. This business obviously is unwilling to buy bullion bars from "certain" individuals, as their websites clearly advertises that they deal with gold in all forms--as any "reputable" gold dealer would. I would advise all to steer clear of this business for being openly deceptive and practicing discrimination.

Bob Harwell is the ultimate professional. He is as honest as the day is long. I bought a substantial number of American Eagles in multiple purchases several years ago. At the time of purchase he assured me he would repurchase them should I decide to sell them. Mr. Hartwell was true to his word. I highly recommend Bob for the purchase of gold colds or rare coins.

I had a remarkable experience with Bob Harwell. He has over 40 years of experience in the business and is extremely knowledgeable, sharp, and fair. I'm not a coin collector however, I had some silver coins that was left behind after my grandfather passed and didn't know what to do with them except get rid of them. I shopped them around to a few dealers and made a decision to go with him after thinking it through. I highly recommend him because it wasn't just about business .We "kicked" it and he gave me really good advice and suggested direction about my own personal business when it came to growing my business .
