Excellent service! Came in knowing very little about the coins that I possessed. They were very knowledgeable and helpful in explaining the value of my coins.

I called ahead before driving in to ask what percentage of melt value they pay. The employee told me approximately 80%, which sounded fair. I had another shop tell me 80-90% but these guys were closer. Based on that, I drove 30 minutes out of my way and used my entire lunch break to come in. When I got there, the same guy I talked to over the phone weighed my necklace and offered $2200. Melt value that day was about $3500 (38 grams of 14k gold). That’s not β€œabout 80%". That’s closer to 60%. When I asked him what percentage of melt his offer actually was, he repeated, β€œabout 80% like I told you on the phone.” I pointed out the math. He had no explanation, shrugged and tossed my necklace back across the counter. So this was either ignorance from the start or outright dishonesty. Either way, the attitude afterward sealed it. Lying about payout percentages is one thing. Being disrespectful with someone’s property in front of other customers, especially something sentimental, is another. I wasted gas, time, and a lunch break for this service. Take that for what it’s worth.

The massive volatility in precious metals has messed up this business model. They had always been fair when prices were low. Came in today to sell some nice silver pieces and expected somewhere near spot but was told that they’re not buying right now as their inventory was full. They for no place to unload for a profit. Can’t really blame them but this is the down side to owning physical silver/gold/platinum.

My most favorite coin store in the north Atlanta area. Up to the minute spot price listed by Kitco (most accurate) visible in lobby. I make several visits here per year and always leave feeling like I got a fair deal. Very helpful staff. I plan to return soon

I popped in to look around and the display counter was overflowing with all kinds of Gold and Silver.. Basically whatever your heart desired. I was immediately greeted by a nice guy Scott I believe his name was. He was very helpful, knowledgeable and inviting. The atmosphere was very comfortable… some places are not like that. I only purchased a few items from him unfortunately because I had already committed to make a large purchase at another shop before I knew about this place. I’ll be back. Thanks Scott.
