They did actually make sure everyone was being seen about during my visit. However I tried to sell a 14k gold wedding band here. It weighed in at 4.4 grams. The price of gold was approximately $90 per gram on the day I went with most pawn shops and jewelry resellers offering 40-50% per gram which would come to approximately $45 per gram. I was offered $80 total. I explained my research on the price of gold and the woman said "no one is going to pay that". I went less than a mile down the road and got $210 for it. Money is tight in this economy and you may be tempted to take what's offered but do your research everyone.

If I could leave zero stars I would, terrible staff and they run scams. Brought in my les Paul guitar, it was used in great condition and they gave me a fake price at 80 dollars and only offered me 25 dollars for it. I looked up how much the guitar was worth used it's worth 184 dollars used at guitar center... The staff here are full of themselves only trying to use people

A serviceable stop when in need of quick cash, American Pawn falters if you have any other reason to be there beyond the purchase of a firearm. For those purposes, they serve well enough, with a fine selection of new and old guns. However I struggle to recommend their services for anyone not in need of a gun. Otherwise your mileage will vary, both in terms of what selection is available and how interested employees are in their assisting. While it's clear they're eager to talk you into an expensive firearm and will spend plenty of time letting people hold them, their knowledge and passion on other areas is generally lacking. It's common to see most of the employees showing off guns to people who won't even buy anything that day while leaving other customers waiting for assistance. In the times I've been there I've experienced no direct issue or problems, although have heard enough second hand from people I'm close with to feel comfortable saying that it's clear some employees have clear preferences with the sorts of customers they deal with. It'd be wrong to extrapolate further from just that, but I'd say it's worth noting. If American Pawn were solely a gun store I'd perhaps rate it higher. But to me American Pawn feels like a proper gun store shackled to a pawn shop. You may find something worth while, perhaps even at a good price, but if it's not a firearm, I would not hold your breath for all that helpful or engaged of service.

These people are the most honest pawn shop we have ever dealt with! Please shop here if you need anything!!! I am black by the way, and I have never had one issue. Sheryl is amazing. I have been shopping here for years.

I have bought several guns from them and have always been very satisfied with the service. Their prices can be high, but I have always been treated like a valued customer.

Came in here a month or so go and looked at guns. Came back today and there's five or six employees in there nobody else in there none of them offered to help and the one that does knows nothing about guns the other stand there doing nothing so they must not want no business
