2 stars for 40% Went to Goldfather to get my 14K gold ring appraised, and they measured it at only 12K. That didn’t sit right with me, so I went just two blocks over to We Buy Gold NMB, and they tested it at 13.4K. I went to Goldfather to sell my gold ring, which is stamped 14K and weighs 5oz. They tested it and claimed it was only 12K, offering me $120 — which I found laughable. Just two blocks away, We Buy Gold NMB tested the same ring and measured it at 13.4K, offering $210. That’s a huge difference for such a short distance. You really can’t trust that everyone has properly calibrated their machines, so getting a second (or even third) opinion is always the smart move. I’m honestly surprised how different the results were between two nearby locations. Neither place would show me the actual weight, and both used the minimum gold value, but We Buy Gold NMB at least showed me the test readout and treated me respectfully. In contrast, the rep at Goldfather was condescending and acted like her evaluation was beyond question. She wouldn’t even explain how she came to her numbers.

Tony is an honest and standup man. Very fair and true to his word. I had a very good transactional experience with him. This is the place to go.

Had some scrap jewelry and coins gathering dust and when I saw the price of silver and gold, decided to sell. Did a Google search and found NMB close to where I live and they were open on Sunday. Stopped in and was pleasantly surprised on the offer I received, no nickel and diming. Was fast and was treated very kindly, there was no need to shop around. Thank you!

A very excellent father and son company. They examined and weighed my gold and diamond rings carefully and gave me a good price. An easy to find store just 5 blocks west of Biscayne Blvd at 163rd Street in North Miami Beach. For those people that don't want a company check or a wire transfer your funds are paid to you in cash. Highly recommended because they are honest, respectful and professional.
