As a young person who has recently taken an interest in precious metals, I've primarily had most of my exposure to it via the stock market, but I've also been wanting to start slowly accumulating physical metal as well. I found this place and stopped in today for the first time, bought a beautiful silver eagle off them to start off my collection. Fast transaction and nice people. If you plan to come here I'd recommend checking out their youtube channel under the same name where Brian posts near-daily updates on premiums, inventory, and general news about the industry, so you know exactly what to expect before you walk in the door. Very fair prices and a way better deal than purchasing from certain online vendors, I look forward to coming back from time to time in the future! -Michael

As a local to the area, I have always wanted to check out this place and give them a try. Disheartened is an understatement. Upon entering the store, we had 3-4 customers in front of us, all with silver in their hands. All were turned away after weighing their items and not told why. Once we got to speak with an employee, we were told multiple times "you're better off to just keep it" kept asking how much they were paying, couldn't get an answer. After many go arounds, and finally begging to understand why as we truly did not understand if we just had junk, looked poor, etc, we were told " we are not buying silver and you are lucky to find anyone around that is". Why couldn't you just say that in the first place? Why waste everyone's time? There is a flag flying out front that says you are buying silver. I can understand things adjust so your website etc cannot change easily but stop wasting so many peoples time. Just be straight. We are someone who acquires a ton of coins, jewelry and metals and this level of customer service is the cause for us never being willing to give you our business going forward. Everyone, do not waste your time and go elsewhere for sterling silver. Also, after seeing the many attacks at reviewers, I will clear the air ahead of time. We are locals to the area. We are not criminals. Our review is legit. This review was not made same day so you cannot recount us specifically. This is an honest review in recounting the dismissive and poor customer service we received.

I was there several months ago with my mother. She found a big box of old coins in her house after my Dad died. She considered this clutter that must go or it could end the world. Of course as a coin collector I picked through the lot first. Lol. I should have just kept them all and paid her myself. Anyway, nice store with lots of beautiful coins to buy. Fast transaction and seemed quite fair to me. Not the most friendly place though. So depends on what you like. If you like coin talk and being able to ask questions then maybe this isn't the store for you. If you just want to quickly buy or sell then is seemed like a reputable place.

I was introduced to Brian at Vermillion by Heather Murphy. I am now hooked. I love that they are organized and make you feel special no matter you you walk in for couple coins or thousands. He respects everyone the same and helps you if you are not quite sure about something. He is very upfront on prices. No guessing or changing prices without updating you like some other shops. Absolutely trustworthy and I will travel however far just to come to them!! Order via email or go in to the shop. You will not be disappointed. His staff is amazing as well I just don’t remember their names.
