I am so happy I found Square Deal Gold Buyers, I was selling my gold/silver coins. It was my third stop Wednesday 2/5/2025. Stop one only wanted to melt my gold coins for me. Stop two, I didn't have a good feeling with the person I dealt with. Although I was looking for the best deal and would have dealt with them. Stop three, security at Square Deal was exceptionally good. There is a buzzer with a speaker outside the door. I gave my name and what I wanted to do and was told to step into the lobby. Once in the lobby which is a locked room a man comes to the door and gives me the once over. He has a sidearm and is all business. I am allowed into another room then another room. Everywhere you look there are cameras. I felt very safe sitting there with a bag of coins valued in the thousands; I knew my transaction was secure. I took my gold coins out first and Alexander checks and double checks and states the price they will pay. Square Deal's price was almost 20% higher than Stop Two, I was happy with that. The transaction lasted a while as Alexander checked and rechecked each coin. I was extremely happy with everything, I was treated with respect and along the way had a great conversation with Alexander. I also got to meet the owner Stan Goldfarb, who is a very nice guy. The three of us had a great back and forth. Of course, my first question was, is that your real name? I was thinking it was funny Goldfarb is the owner of a we buy gold company, buy yes it is his real name. If you are looking to sell your Gold or Silver there is only one place to go. At the end of my transaction I was offered an armed escort to my car. Not only are they nice to deal with but they care about your security on the way out the door.

I chose this place because of all the great reviews and let me tell you, they did not disappoint. My daughter and I were buzzed into the lobby then Bill brought us back to his desk. We had a handful of broken chains and rings with no stones, etc. I was shocked at how much Bill offered me for that small pile of broken gold. He tested each and every piece and separated them by karat. I was extremely pleased with his generous offer and so my daughter and I went shopping! Thanks, Bill! Jennifer was also there and she was extremely helpful as well.

Don’t recommend, selling to local jewelry stores and the hotel buyers are a better option. They tend to offer me 90-95%. Square deal told me they’d have to see it to get me to come in then hit me with a lowball offer $3k under 95% value! I understand 30 day holds and market volatility but to sum it up this place is a pawnshop that only buys gold. Update: LOL direct competitor is hilarious, I feel like if I did this for work I’d do great. Basic math is hard sometimes I see. A phone in your hand can tell you everything you need to know about value. Baseline metal value and percentages. Sullivans jewelers “buying event” offered way better than you guys. I understand you feel threatened by the review, but I’m letting others know the other options I’ve explored as someone who does research before selling. Good luck everyone.

“Thank you for taking the time to explain how gold is weighed in troy ounces—that helped me understand why the scale reading seemed different at first.My scale said 2.2 onces there's said 2 onces becuase they weight in troy onces. I also appreciate the clarification on offering 75% of the gold’s value to account for market volatility. I still think this is a little low but they did give me 120 dollars more. It made me feel alot better about the fair deal. So if you going to shop around to sell your jewelry the pay 75 percent of its value at this place
