I went to this store yesterday specifically because of their excellent reviews, and everyone was 100% correct. The couple that owns this store were one of the nicest people I ever met. We went in to sell some estate jewelry & also have some old coins looked at as well. We all had the nicest conversation. The owners are super friendly and offered me what I thought to be a very fair price on the jewelry I brought in to sell. Not to mention they went above and beyond doing a quick repair on a ring I currently wear that a small stone fell out of. Thank you so much Eric for doing that for me. I highly suggest you visit their store and they also sell jewelry and rare coins as well as purchasing them. We had the nicest conversation with them both and were probably in the store for a good 30 minutes or more just chatting. It's a pleasure to have done business with them and I certainly will pray the good Lord blesses their business abundantly! I personally wouldn't go anywhere else. They don't repair jewelry anymore but were kind enough to give us the name and number of someone they referred us to. I would absolutely do business with them again for either buying or selling. Excellent coin. and bullion store. This is a small family owned business and they are both the nicest people around. You will get a great deal no matter if you are a buy or a seller. I was in today and got a VERY fair price for a small collection I brought in. You will not be disappointed with your visit. I would recommend this place 7 days a week and twice on Sunday. I dont know why bad stuff has to happen to great people. So If any 1 is looking to buy or sell any gold, silver, or coins or other valuables. Please help my fav lakeland couple rebuild from their recent, to say this nicely 4 enterweb purposes, their recent evil event that 1 bad person did to them. Why mean people want to and then do the pathetic things they do to nice, honest, trustworthy, respectful, and all around just 2 great people. Well I honestly will never understand. So yes my fav lakeland couple runs a business its their trade or profession aka the family income. So they have to eat and need to make afew $ to pay bills in this world. Ill say this it dont matter who you are old, young, male, female, you may know you have a 5k necklace or if you dont have a clue on if your coun is worth 5 $ or 500k $ they treat every 1 the same. If you buying they sell as low as they can while still bn able to make 5$ while in return if your are selling they will pay as much as they can to any and every1 that they can whike bn able to still turn around and make 5$ 1 of the main reasons i love em

I arrived shortly after the store opened. I brought in a paper money and coin collection that belonged to my late Father. Eric took his time to look through everything and offered to buy some of my coins. He is very knowledgeable and fair with his pricing. He was showing my comps. I was thrilled to find out that one of my coins was gold and brought a good amount of money for how small it was. Both he and his wife were professional, kind, fair, and lovely to work with. I highly recommend them.

On 11/18/25 we went to S.G.B. Jewelry & Coins in Lakeland to sell some silver coins. We have never done business with S.G.B. before, so I was going by the Five star reviews that were posted for them. The Five Star reviews are absolutely correct, we were treated extremely well, Eric took his time in appraising the coins and giving us detail about certain coins. S.G.B. is very friendly and customer oriented no high pressure in our dealings with them. I highly recommend S.G.B. for your jewelry and coin needs.

After looking at the reviews of this location I decided I would go in and meet Eric and his wife. They come across as genuinely good people. They make you feel comfortable in their store and offered a very fair price on my gold ring! Would definitely recommend going there if you like to be treated honestly! Thanks for everything!
