0Definitely not a warm & fuzzy welcoming at the front door. We were met with what could only be described as 6-7 staff members or just people chilling behind the counter, who knows. Immediately was told to put my partners arm bag in a locker per policy to cut down on shoplifting - I get it trust me I do. As an alternative he open said “wallet on a chain” and opens up clear as day as it’s jam packed with things - nothing is going to fit & trust me if there is something of value (not often) it won’t fit in his jam crowded wallet on a chain. To which the eclectically dressed Woman said “it’s for breakable items incase you swing into it” This point we cut our losses and go out the wallet in the car hoping mo on now smashes my vehicle to steal a wallet. And I know what your thinking we offer lockers for convenience- well some people have good they don’t want to slide in dusty rusty school lockers. We then took2 peer in past the crown of employees/ street vendors to see not one but TWO Asian women carrying full shoulder bag purses around the store. So better whoever reads this because just a few miles up the road there are some HUGEE decadently nice antique shores that have opened that greet you with hi there hello would you like a glass of wine while you shop. Guess you see where I’m going with this. Guess all good things end eventually & with attitude like today’s & competition scratching your back door - my bet it won’t be much longer. We won’t be back. Oh and to boot absurdly overpriced everything!

Loveeee it here :)
This was my first time visiting with my sister and brother-in-law. I antique shop often, but they don’t, so when we walked in I mentioned to my sister that if you have a large purse or backpack, you usually need to put it in a locker. We began shopping, and shortly after, an employee approached my sister and me and told us that we had “snuck in” and needed to put our purses in a locker. My sister responded that we didn’t sneak in we simply walked through the entrance and no one said anything to us. The employee repeated, “Like I said, you snuck in.” I completely understand the policy about placing purses in lockers, and we had no issue complying. However, the wording and tone felt unnecessary. A simple, polite explanation such as, “Sorry I missed you when you came in could you please place your purses in a locker?” would have been much more appropriate and appreciated.

On Trial: Orange Tree Antique Mall Prices: There’s a decent range, but overall prices lean toward the higher end. That said, the quality often justifies the cost. Items: Huge selection of high-quality pieces. If you can think of it, they probably have it. Atmosphere: HUGE and well organized, making it easy to browse without feeling overwhelmed. Clean, comfortable, and easy to spend a lot of time in. The Verdict: Orange Tree Antique Mall is a strong stop for serious antique shoppers. You may pay a bit more, but the selection and quality make it worth the visit if you’re looking for something special.
a fantastic vintage mall. those who are complaining about the “bag in lockers”…. huge sign before walking in.. super simple . super skinny booths with alot of great glassware that can easily get knocked over. it’s a easy rule to follow without being grouchy about it. i’d definitely shop here again when we are in town.. found incredible vintage pieces at great prices, great staff. will return when back in town. five stars ! from kansas and tokyo …
The owner, Richard Dunbar, is incredibly helpful and professional. There was a small hiccup with my purchase, but Richard and Erin were both so kind and attentive in resolving the issue quickly. Their excellent customer service truly made a difference. I will definitely return the next time I visit Orlando!
If you’re in the Winter Park area and want to do some antiquing or want a chill indoor activity in the AC, this is a great place to walk around. It is way, way bigger than it looks from the outside. I felt like the rooms kept going back, and back, and back. But that being said, with so much inventory there’s definitely some good stuff, yet some equally bad or questionable things. I felt that the overall vibe here was strange. Antique stores all have a unique feel, but I didn’t like how it felt at this one. And a lot of the items they had were actually kind of creepy/ disturbing/ gross where I’d just walk right past and not even try to take time. I’m not sure I’d bring kids in here or I’d be careful of where I’d let them wander. For the disney fans, they did of course have a good amount of memorabilia being so close by the parks. And there’s a big record & game room at the very back of the store that’s pretty neat. Also, a majority of the prices were pretty outrageous. You could find some good deals here and there if you really took the time to look but they’re definitely proud of what they sell. But again, we found a few fun things for reasonable prices and went on our merry way.
Really enjoyed my time here. There are so many vendors here!! Tons of cute items, jewelry, clothes, VHS, CDs. Even uranium dishes!! I love how they glow. They look absolutely cool. The staff here was very friendly and welcoming. I like their policy to lock up your bag when you come in. They got lockers and you carry They key with you until you leave. The prices for everything seemed really affordable and reasonable; depending on item and age that is. The atmosphere was pretty relaxed as well. Some booths had music playing so it kept up a chill vibe. Good songs. Classic music to modern.
