I had an EXCELLENT experience at Lief’s Coin & Jewelry. I was looking for an expert to evaluate some old coins and bills and Lief did not disappoint. He carefully examined my items and explained their value. Then he quoted a great price for each item. I had done some research on old coins prior to going to Lief’s and feel I was treated well. I highly recommend Lief as a knowledgeable and fair coin dealer.

Great experience. Highly recommend! Leif is excellent Very knowledgeable, straight to the point and honest. In situations like this I prefer this over a slick sales approach. He has been in town a long time and is very well established in the community. This put me at ease. You can't be in businss long here by not providing great service and good value. After reviewing the large collection he gave me options and told me alternatives for my grandmother's coins. He was very fair and I never felt like I was being taken advantage of. I took coins to Leif to sell. He recommended that he send in the four most valuable ones to be graded. It was to take only 2-4 weeks. I left them with him and after 4 1/2 months of repeated calls and visits he finally had them. It appears that my best coin, which was uncirculated, has now become a very fine grade. The coin was marked "ungraded" but cleaned. Keep in mind, if you ever want a coin graded, that the one returned to you might not be what you had originally.

Was there earlier today. Glad he was open on the holiday! I was able to sell some jewelry and silver coins. He paid fast and fair, and I was well aware of what my items were worth. He was finishing up with a woman when I arrived who left pleased with the amount she got for her stuff. Thank you Leif!
