I had a great experience at Coin and Bullion Reserves today. It’s an interesting story. We’ve been a customer for over 15 years and made a purchase a few years ago that we ended up finding out was counterfeit silver. We found out one to two years after the fact and notified the store and they told us to bring it back. We finally brought it back today and JAMES remembered us as customers and immediately replaced the counterfeit bars with authentic bars. (He explained the gentleman that sold us the silver no longer works there) This is a significant amount of silver and he basically did it on a handshake. That’s an honest man and in my experience this is a great company to work with for your bullion needs. Thank you for educating me all these years and providing great service.

I went into C&B Reserves to begin my precious metals journey. James spent 30 minutes cheerfully answering all my beginner questions and teaching me more in 30 minutes than I have learned in weeks of research. EXCEPTIONAL customer service. I'll be shopping here.

No hospitality at all in this place! The two lady working, the jewelry station seemed very miserable. One was a straight smartass with Pretty much everything that I asked. The other lady may have just been aggravated from dealing with her all day. The man working the silver station. I'm assuming the owner. Wasn't much better seeming very pessimistic as I said no hospitality at all. I will stick to my on-line Bullion dealers. My conclusion is must be family owned, and they bring their drama to work.Just I guess. They had some pretty nice stuff, but no way would I spend my money there or even accept their money for my Bullion. Wish I had a better experience with them to share with y'all. Was not trying to sell them anything, just a few questions about a product that I already owned and was ready to shop to add to my collection. Damn shame.

We had such a great experience here! My husband and I bought some silver rounds and later realized we were missing one when we got home. Totally our fault for not counting, but when we came back the next day, they made it right immediately with zero hassle. Wiss was the one who helped us and he was so kind, honest, and professional. It’s rare to find a business with this level of integrity. We really appreciated it. We will definitely be back for more! Highly recommend!

We went in 20 minutes before closing to inquire or sell a few coins. Agent was quick and knowledgeable. And we sold two gold pieces. But not one "thank you, come back again" or appreciation for our business. Rude actually. We'll shop around next time where we are valued as a customer. Btw they charged 10* .

What a joke this place is. A business that allows employees to look/talk down on thier customers or judge them by the way they look or the way they are dressed is the worst kind of place to go. The undisguised disdain from the two guys that I had contact with was appalling. I went there because one other place that l took it to looked at the money and said i should go by by there and have them look at. I first asked them to.look at a ring I had and if they could tell me what its worth. The ring is 10 caret gold with 22 black diamonds and 6 white diamomds and the man told me it was worth $150. Now Anyone with just a little knowledge would know that the ring is worth way more than that but when i told him i wasn't interested in selling it to them all he cared about at that point was getting me outta there and i was pointed to the gentleman to the left for the currency as i was waiting anther rude individual came up.to me and asked if he could help me amd I said I was waiting on the other guy and he saidoΚ» he could look at it and basically said its just money amd mot worth anything and I had been offered 100 times the face value of the money but told him they didn't offer me anything he was so rude and barely looked at what I had and basically told me to leave not even realizing that I am a business owner and most likely made at least twice as much as both there salarys last year. But I had just come from a job amd was a little dirty and had been up since s 3am that morning but that is still no excuse to treat a customer the way I was treated there today... the second guy I talked to had no idea what he was looking at when I should him the currency his only concern seemed to be getting me out of the store and barely even looked at the 4 1980 misprint 50 dollar bills that I had. He saod it was just money. And when I said then why is there at least 10 of the same misprint bills in way worse condition than mine for sale online for between $1000 and $12,000? He's only concern was getting was getting me outta of the store. Ive never felt so disrespected in my life. When i told him I had a couple other places look at them he asked if they offered me anything amd I told him no they didn't offer me any money for them and I didn't tell him they are not for sale i only wanted to verify what i was already told they were worth but he went by what I told hom they said amd barley looked at the bills and thought they were worthless because the other places dodnt offer me anything im very happy that he said my currency is worthless because I knew he had no idea what he was doing or what he was talking about. People like him make me sick amd I hope that one day his rudeness is directed at someone that has the time or energy to put him in his place. That store had no right to treat me the way they did based on how I looked.. i wouldn't reccomended this place for anything and if you Google thier name there are 2 or 3 other places that im sure would like your business and they treated me the same as every one else in the store when i went t there. I wish I could give them no stars because thats the rating they deserve. Attached are pics of the bills he said the one sided crease was nothing yet its a misprint amd its on a bill with another misprint which makes them valuable to collectors bit thos place seems to only want to buy thimgs for nothing and lie to customers that come in looking for an honest answer when asking what something is worth. EDIT...YES YOU DO TREAT PEOPLE LIKE THAT. You have multiple reviews proving it i CANNOT BELIEVE YOU SAID the bills I have are not missaligned printing error $50s aΒ circulated $50 bill with a misaligned only, Chicago Reserve) was listed for $2,200. A 1980 misaligned printing error $50 bill could be worth anywhere from 3 or $400 to several thousand $$ depending on the specifics of the error. So you are wrong mine are

******CON-ARTIST****** After waiting a few days to post this my soul told me to tell you my experience. After coming to town to visit my ill father and family that raised me I decided I wanted to go to the Jewelry store to check out some silver pieces from where my stepmother and close friend done business with for years. As you can see they brought me to Coin and Bullion which they had spent unknown amounts of money with in the past 40 years and trusted them with there prize pieces. Well turns out after going in with my stepmother, her best friend "Family local business owner", sister and brother in-law "local restaurant operations manager"I made my way to the short gentleman on the left side of the building to have him look at a special piece I brought in for him to value for me. After the man proceeded to tell me that what I had was more less a few grams of 18 k gold because all it was worth was just that...That the stones would be busted out because they were all fake...... I said but I don't understand I bought this pretty well knowing it was all real. (because after collecting silver my whole life I kind of had a good idea on what gold and gemstones were worth. I'm 45 btw) So he proceeded to tell me that he was a gemologists for over 30 years and he knew what he was talking about. Mind you he said this Infront of all the people who were with me. So with that said my step mom said well son at least you know you have a few grams of gold and it's a pretty pendant that no one else has. ... Next day knowing he was wrong in my head I went to a jewler on Harrison avenue that was in an antique boutique. Just looking for nearest pawn shop knowing they could test the stones for me. So guys what do you think happened. Every single stone in my piece was real. He lied to me thinking he would buy my piece for 70% of spot price . so about 200 dollars. (Btw. It's 8.9g 18k) DO NOT GO THERE. They will make you believe you fake jewelry and buy it for scrap. Then turn around and make THOUSAND'S off of you. Beware.. . Btw whoever this business owner is now should probably rethink where they're located in Panama City. There's a lot of people that were born and raised here that come back to visit their parents and know what the business were and where the family values were that treated the people right around here. I'd hate to think that I was considering buying a house down here to be close to my family and now knowing people are in the area that run businesses that all they're doing is scamming. I suggest anyone who reads this to stay away. They are not legit. My family and friends are all aware of the situation and they are all going to make sure that those 1000 plus people that walks past there business knows not to go there. This is a small town. Please dont mess with the values we have here for our community. Go away.
