Complete unprofessionalism, brought in an iMac for a short term pawn that was at least worth 250.00. Young guy comes out to look at it and proceeds to talk to the other guy looking at it , that "these things,meaning the iMac, are about worthless these days , he said that he could buy them all day on EBAY for 50 $ or 60 $" ! He then offers me 125.00 I need the money for now and I know I will buy it back in a week or two ,so I agree. After about five mins of fumbling around in the OS to check if it works which it does perfectly , he changes his offer to 70.00 . Needless to say I walked and asked him if it was common practice to change offers after an agreement was made? He just stood and looked at me ... He must have thought I was a meth head or something ! Jerks !
Same people and same owner further up the road on route 13. This shop is bigger but still filled with items from the broke and desperate. This is a Rip You Off Pawn Shop except they smile as they rip you off. If you know better. Prices on what they sell are about 20% higher than what you'd find for them on ebay. If you want to pawn something their interests rates are super high and you can't pay down to get your item out only renew or get your items out. Selling an item they'll low ball you say $50 bucks for a $600 item even if it's new. I'll say it once and say it again Ebay or Craigslist your stuff if you need money. This is another place to nickel and dime people that are down and out. All they'll do is take your stuff and sell it on eBay and make money off your stupidity. Be Smart and Avoid! The owner is also a Trump supporting moron.
They have good stuff but the customer service sucks!
Everyone has always been polite and willing to work out a deal. They dont get upset or mean if you change your mind on something or if you ask questions. I would ( and have) recommend them to a lot of people.
They had a keytar on eBay that was “obo” I shot them an offer and they never responded. Next notification I get is that the item was sold. They never declined my offer and gave me the chance to bid higher. Poor customer service and they could have made more money had they let me bid higher. Makes me sick.
