I gotta say , I get everything I could hope for and more from this place . The owner does honest business and always does the best possible to help , his staff is also just as great , they have a personal relationship with their customers , they remember my sister and I even after we hadn't even been there in months ... Shout out to Valley Coins for doing the community right ... Thank you from the Twins ...

Unprofessional.. brought in some casino silver strikes and the “gentleman” there wanted to test if they were silver. If you aren’t aware these are in capsules, long story short the guy there struggled to open the capsule. I offered help, he denied and proceeded to throw it on the ground - shattering it. After everything was all said and done I was offered $18 for the 1 token I had that was silver. These hold .6oz of silver. $18 is a smack in the face, and to add insult to injury he destroyed the capsule of the token that he wouldn’t purchase, silver or not. You break it you buy it. Same rule would apply if it were the other way. Just absolutely baffled that people call this a reputable dealer. 1/10 take your money elsewhere.

One of my favorite numismatic shops. I like how everything is displayed and easy to see, ESPECIALLY after the remodel. Ed, who is the owner, knows his stuff and is a wealth of information. He has a great selection of US coins throughout history as well as foreign coins. Also has paper money from all eras of US currency. I feel his prices are fair and align with what I see on Greysheet and the Redbook. If you want a nice piece or blue chip coin, take a look here.

Purchased some beautiful Libertads from Valley Coins. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They even offered me a chair, a tray of coins, and a magnifying glass and told me, “we close at 5,” making it clear I didn’t need to rush. Fair prices, an amazing selection of coins and bullion, and a genuinely welcoming atmosphere. This is officially my new local coin shop! P.S. When I paid and got my change back, it was all beautiful BU coins! Such a nice touch and totally made my day.

When it comes to selling part of your collection or buying new items, you want to make sure you are dealing with a knowledgeable and trustworthy business. Valley Coins has earned a well-deserved reputation for square deals, is very competitive with pricing and has been in business for many years. Ed, the owner, is a straight-talking numismatist with many years of experience. There are many online precious metal dealers but dealing online can be problematic regarding shipping, receiving and payments. I highly recommended this store.
