HORRIBLE!! If you want to be looked up and down and judged before any employee even acknowledges you, then this is the place to go! Went in to sell some antique sterling silver candlesticks, they explained to me (like i was a moron) i had to take them apart!?! Went to ct gold buyers they gave me $100 instantly. 100% do not recommend. I almost instantly walked out because the balding miserable man at the front desk literally looked at me up and down like i was a criminal

I had a tv and Xbox I came to take it out today after paying for it for several months..i almost left but the guy that works there tells me to check it..thank goodness he said that because my tv wasn’t working and the screen was SMASHED..THEY BROKE my tv and I would have took it home and been able to do nothing about it I find out it’s broken at home. She talked to the guy in the back, probably mad he told me to check it. She tells me taht she doesn’t want to “leave a bad taste” in my mouth so she offers to give me a more used tv, cheaper brand with no remote. My tv was a month old and obviously working perfect when I brought it in. She tells me that if I read the receipt, they are not responsible for things getting broken under their care…ummm what? Why would I be spending hundreds monthly to keep something, so one day I can get it out and it not be in the same working condition as when I bought it there? Why would I be paying for a broken object? I over hear the younger guy say, why u getting upset, your acting like u got gold or something..how rude! It’s mine and I don’t care if it cost three dollars, I still paid u to keep my stuff, and get it back one day.

We put a Fender Jazz Bass on layaway for my granddaughter. They were helpful but above all else, truthful. I’m including a photo of her with the bass. I’m going back for a diamond ring.

The bad reviews are people upset with their life, been going there and purchasing stuff for years. NEVER saw any rude behavior. If you can’t wait, cause they are always extremely busy, don’t go. Never had a problem with anything I purchased, I’ve purchased a few things from them. Rude.? Again, must be in their heads. Nicest people in New Haven. None of my stuff was defective, if ever I do, I know they will fix the purchase .

Over and above re fairness, honesty and accessibility. Never tried to take advantage of me, my friend I sent there or anyone I witnessed when I was there. If you need to pawn/sell something Superior Exchange is the place to go!
