Right after holidays. Workers were cranky and very slow. Out of bags. Place looked like a war zone. Drive a little and find the next one!

The manager here is so kind, I was struggling to find a missing shoe that I wanted to purchase because the missing pair was somewhere random, she found it for me and was so kind. I cried of happiness! They value their customers! Also they always have good stuff here all the time, it's never a miss and the environment is clean.

Very poor customer service at Main Street Marshall's (Bridgeport). There are 3 employees who treat customers badly and even discriminate. I've been a customer for years and even I pay sometimes with my TJ Maxx credit card, but I won't give any names of those associates or employess. Some of the employees who have worked there for a long time are very rude, and after spending so much of my time and money there, I've had enough. I'd rather drive further to another store. TJ Maxx and Marshall's are good companies, but the staff leaves too much to be desired. It's frightening to go there and be treated so poorly. They just need to provide customer service training and remind their employees that customers are the reason they have work hours and jobs. I'll give you some examples: I take my 4-year-old son to read books there, and sometimes I buy 1 or 2 books mean while my family buys women's clothing. so sometimes they complain about my son, even though we always put the books back on the rack or shelves. And when we've paid, there's always a woman who asks for an ID or even two forms of identification to pay with my credit card. I avoid that woman when I'm paying. I've never been asked for ID to buy anything like $30 or $40 dollars items I live nearby, and it's just irritating to go there anymore. like I said I love Marshall"s and T.J. maxx or Home goods but that store need more customer service training. Thanks
