WOW, and I don't mean World of Warcraft, But you could probably find that here too! Since we've spent so much time indoors I searched out some local gaming stores to grab some fun to have at home with the family. In my search I found Batlegrounds Gaming in Norwalk, CT and OMG what an amazing selection of Dungeons and Dragons, Warhammer and practically any other Gaming supply you could need! I walked out with not only a bag full of miniatures, but also found a new home away from home for my gaming supplies in CT!
Great store. Staff is very pleasant. The game selection is not huge, but they have lots of great choices. They have a huge selection of miniatures for games like D&D (one of the largest in stores I have visited)! The store also has a floor of tables for games/events they run. I haven't personally joined the games, but I often see people playing when we come to the store.
With hobby and gaming stores slowly becoming a thing of the past it’s great to see a fantastic local business such as this store. There is a great variety of games from wargaming, card games, and family games. If you’re into painting or modeling miniatures there is a great paint stock and unique modeling tools. I picked up some family board games for the birthdays and holidays. Also available are dice and other gaming supplies. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. You might get the opportunity to see some gaming going on with some skillfully crafted and painted miniatures like the battles pictures. Even these folks are happy to talk with you about what they are doing and how much they enjoy it. My advice is to throw away that online couch ordering, get up, and support this awesome local business.
