We decided to sell a rare coin collection and some estate jewelry and reached out to Wild West Traders. In addition to having stellar reviews on Google, Wild West was relatively close to us—not in one of Denver's rougher areas, but in a safe part of Golden—which matters when you have to transport an expensive lot of items. Wild West is a family-run business that has been around for 17 years. Established. We worked with Dane, who was knowledgeable as well as personable and patient. Because of the size and scope of what we had, we received appraisals from three different vendors. Dane was overall the most competitive, even with the jewelry pieces. Dane made the transaction easy and satisfying. We would definitely work with him again. Highly recommended. Five stars.

A really nice find this place. This was one of the shops I told my wife I’d like to visit while in Golden today. In my experience, many coin shop owners are a bit cold. Such was not the case here. Dane was so inviting and so down to earth- just a really knowledgeable and friendly sort of guy. Extremely welcoming and willing to show me anything I asked to see and give a bit history too while we shopped. Prices were more than fair and it was just overall a great experience for the two us. If I had anything I would change, it might be to add something fun for the kids to get them interested. Maybe a grab box of inexpensive world coins? You know- 5 for a dollar kind of thing? But hey folks, GREAT SHOP. I will treasure what I bought for years to come. Thank you!

I had a rather large collection of coins that I wanted to assess. Without question both of the employees (family operated) were incredibly friendly and ready to help sift through the coins. Very knowledgeable. They obviously had some regular customers and it was nice to see a couple of those interactions. Honest, fair and stand up place. I know nothing about coins and they took the time to explain which coins had value and what to spend. Took a coin elsewhere and they offered $1,000 less than Wild West. I will never buy or sell elsewhere. Family owned and truly a great experience. Took 3 boxes there from dad/moms passing, stop scrolling, go here.

Dane at Wild West Traders was so knowledgeable and lovely with my 15-year-old son. Charlie had a collection of old coins he wanted to learn more about. Dane took his time to explain their history and the process of selling his coins if he was interested. The experience will be a core memory for my kiddo!

This is an amazing knowledgeable and honest coin shop. A must stop, a destination location. A year ago they had a perfect Carson City Morgan in my budget and it rated through PCGS within 2 points of their in-house grading. A year later I had the privilege of visiting them again. I brought in some 300 year old coins in to have evaluated as I didn't trust the Kansas City dealers and they gave me positive evaluations that put a smile on my face. These people are the best.
