Stopped in to sell an old “sterling” tea set and a couple other “sterling” pieces. Learned a bunch! All were silver plated except one small tray (and now I know how to tell). The best part was that he has beautiful jewelry he sells. Had no idea! Got a sparkling real sterling chain. Will definitely go back!
