Came in to see this shop yesterday for the first time. Good selection, friendly shop owner. No tax because it’s out of city limits - but premiums are about the same as anywhere else.
Russ was very fair and quick with payment. As another reviewer mentioned, he paid by check, but it went right through and saved me a trip later since I just deposited by phone. I'll probably be back.
I visited Loveland Gold and Silver because I had some silver I wanted to sell. I knew I was in trouble when owner asked me how much I wanted for the silver. The market price was posted in the shop and he under cut the price. When asked why he gave me a lame excuse and his two buddies backed him up. I take responsibility for selling to these guys and I allowed myself to be taken. Then he payed me with a check which I objected to. I went to the bank and was told he had insufficient funds to cover the check. I drove back to the business and demanded my money. The owner came up with the funds. AVOID these gentle men and Loveland Gold and Silver at all costs. They don’t operate in good faith.
Did not sell to him and I don't recommend anyone else do either. Full blown insulted, not sure he even looked at the spot price and offered me less than 50% of spot price. I understand needing to make some money but damn. Edit: spot that day for platinum was $30.47/gram, I had 3.5 grams and he offered me $40 total for it.
